I would love to own this beast.!!!
If this car was still being sold at Lincoln Car Dealerships, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this.
These 70s Lincolns were the perfect shape- super low to the ground and wide, it commands attention and respect. It probably did even back in the 70s, and for sure it does now. This is the perfect classy cruiser while still having a little muscle look to it. In my opinion I'd try to muscle it up a little more, not so much the plush cruiser/pimpmobile look this one has, but still a classy gorgeous car. It looks beautiful
fabulous looking car... Not another car anywhere as good looking as a MK4 or Mk5 Ford Lincoln Continental.
Omg! That’s one of the rare luxury group colors called Desert Sand, I would have kept it original especially with the incredibly low mileage 😮 but hey they can do whatever they want it’s their car 😊
Incredible build. Sir you are a Master and have made a beautiful classic operate like new. Much respect.
a work of art
this thing is perfection!! just the right look for me with those rims
Nice thumbnail lol, beautiful car nonetheless, magnificent work, even with the imperfections. I’d buy it. And I’m sure many others would too. The modern engine is a bit crowded, but with horsepower like that, there’s no trouble at all.
I had the Dove Grey Cartier. I didnt have the money to do that. Great job.
Fantastic! I owned a low mile 76 Lipstick edition. I would loved to have done this but the one thing that stopped me was lack of $$$$$.
Fantastic !
Very nice ride 🤙💯
Good god its painfully perfect
Looks awesome 😎👍
Wow! What a beauty. 👍✨
dreamcar!! 😍😍😍😍
Sick
Badazz!!!
Great power plant…. What would be great is someone going with the Godzilla ford power plant with modern suspension
Overall this Lincoln was tastefully done
I Love it...
Boa tarde congrats carro vai amém bom trabalho
👍
How did you get the headlight covers to work with that engine? I was told to swap my engine with a modern one, they wouldn't be able to get the headlights to work. 1981 lincoln mark VI to a newer 5.0 coyote.
Litterally vaccum controlled if you went diesel youd need a vac pump
B..E..A..utiful!
ชอบมากเลยคร้าบ
I love this car I had one 35 yrs ago I want to get another what do I have to do for the hp and what does it cost to do the motor if anybody knows thank you
Where can I find those motor mounts
It looks like it no longer rides soft.
Beautiful
Mother of God.
That's some Pimpin' Love Potion baby!!!!
Is it still available - would like to buy it-what is the asking price?
How many forward speeds does the tranny have? Is it a modern GM transmission? What did you do with the Hydraulic brake system that got its boost from the power steering pump? Is that still in place? Sure-Trak ABS still work? I would love a 1976 Cartier Mark IV with that engine!
Be nice of someone replied with an answer.
4L85 transmission is a 4 speed automatic made by GM and it can handle high horsepower applications. The car may not have used Hydro-Boost power steering.
@@viciouspoodle5543 They sold it...
They don't care 👎
Honestly, it looks like trouble. 80K in add on junk, and the guy hardly drove it since. That air suspension in a way heavier Mark, 2nd transmission already... Oh yes, when you take it in to Ford, they will be so impressed!
@@andykerr3803 I see people doing something similar to gorgeous old early 60's Cadillacs and then they add on these hideous rims. It's a shame. I could see putting in a Lincoln Navigator powertrain or something from an F-250 or F-350 truck. Thanks for your reply!😁
@@viciouspoodle5543 To be fair, they only used this car to test their GM power trains.
The car itself is in poor taste. I suspect they also had a Mark VIII donor car for the air suspension and HID lighting... Both questionable systems. At least there was no neon backlight. I had a '76 T- bird that was souped up by a Ford employee. The 460 and C3 can easily yield excellent performance when modded and are even more reliable, the rear gearing was also changed... It really moved. My Mark IV was fairly stock but had nice wide aluminum slot mags that matched the silver of the car color.
That car is a beautiful monster with the wheel wells filled out. I remember the tires being possibly as large as 295, but the look was totally balanced with no handling or clearance issues. Even the factory forged aluminum dish mags look small. If you're a real purist you could remount the classy octagon center hubcaps on widened steel rims... Nobody would suspect, they would fill the wells better. As for the fake spoke rims, the things on this car or the 13" low-rise clown wheels... What a waste of $$$$
Cheers Poodle 🐩 🍻
What was the brand of wheel on that car?
Did you ever end out finding them?
Too classy to be driving it with that much hp…I love the car though; my dad had one when I was a kid. Loved those rides with him.
Tide, dream ride
Y’all still got it?
NASTY!!!
Why is that red light on the dash showing
Want to know. Price
Not a Lincoln. Just a Continental Mark IV
IM-FKIN-POSSIBLE, 10/10
jesus fkin christ, u guys NAILED it 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I don't know this guy keeps talking about original this n that, when it was a low mileage car that's been cut up
If you spent $80,000 into upgrades on this car, what are you selling it for?, $100,000? Lol.
F...ked the car up by putting LS motor in it should have done a coyote
Beautiful car. Too bad you ruined it by putting a Chevy engine in it.
It was a beautiful car before you made it ghetto. What a shame.
Yeah, it wasn't one of the classier models to start with... Really, why not put 13" spoke wheels and one of those dumb antennas on the trunk...
Why ruin a classic like this, it’s not that many Desert Sand luxury group editions rolling around.
@@dinoyoung3274 They suckered some dumb guy...All about $$$$$.
it isnt ghetto?? the colour scheme is of the era and it has just enough flash to make it stand out, extremely tasteful restoration if you ask me
Damn shame to ruin a classic car like that. At least put a modern ford engine in it
NASTY!
