Since the EB16 board is expensive and very rare at the moment, I want to buy the Roland sp 404MK2 and use effects and a bit of filters. How do I connect the two devices so that everything is done with the MPC 2000xl (the Roland's effects should also be recorded permanently) Do you understand what I mean?
you would have to resample effects into the mpc2000xl if you want fx permanent. In other words after you connect 2 1/4" cables from sp to mpc you have to sample from 1 machine back to the other and back again if that makes sense.
