Is it my imagination or are you much happier now that you're on the road. You seem to have a lot more pep in your step, a positive attitude and basically seem to be enjoying your work and life more as a mobile mechanic than you were when you had your shop. You even look healthier. Bad things happening to you in life can often lead to better things which you weren’t expecting.

After looking for days, this is, by far, the best gasket change show found. Very good work !! BTW, what's really helpful, is your comments about diagnosing, guessing, checking and validating your suspicions; from customer complaint to bad work done before. You rock man !!

Hey, having something good to watch from a good content provider is awesome. Thank you! I just did valve cover gaskets on a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor 3.8L for a burning smell complaint, too. Same thing...Oil running down on the cat.

Your quality of work is outstanding. I know you’re not a shade tree mechanic but for those of us who are, you give us who too take pride in their work work a good name. I ALWAYS do work on someone else’s car as if it were my own. If I wouldn’t do it to my cars, I won’t do it to theirs. Great work brother!

Very good repair and if some hadn't noticed, you did use a vacuum to clean out the hole that needed taping. I have to say, how disgusting for the previous mechanic to have simply said to himself "No way I'm taking this apart again" to correct his mistake with the wiring loom. Secondly, all of the grey silicone isn't part of the OEM repair process. Also, good idea on the new bolts, hadn't thought of that before but when you said they are an aluminum alloy, it made much sense. Owner should be happy with the new cabin filters. Too bad the owner isn't that tidy with his vehicle interior. Thanks for showing us your talent...great job.

With my recently acquired 525i, I noticed burnt oil sitting in that tray, or whatever it is, below the cat converter. I just figured it was remnants of maintenance long past. However, with taking the car in for safety recall for the PCV valve, they told me about a leaking valve cover gasket, along with a $1.7k estimate for the work. Bwahahahaha! Nope. I'll be doing it myself. Thanks 💯 for this quick tutorial, since I wasn't sure about that valvetronic motor. 😊

have you found any guidance would be help to distinguish what is causing the check engine lights on that GTR?
I'm not going to pretend that I am smart in tuning but up 90% of cars I had in the past was a lack of fuel pressure and because the remap of engine software they extended lower/ upper limits so you won't find any dtc's check this out , I solved it without scanner just casual checks fuel pressure etc...... czcams.com/video/JIzJmZ3xQhw/video.html
