They've been killing it for a long time. If you are just now discovering their greatness you gotta lot of catching up to do, but it's never a bad thing discovering a bad ass band that has a bunch of albums to go back and listen to 😎🤘
Same like I listen to them here and there back in the day but they never did anything for me so I never bother to listen this album though is fuckin brilliant.
Fucking right? Ive listened to them a few times, and liked a few of their songs a lot, but never really heard anything that really struck home or drove the nail.. This album just totally changed that for me. Loving every bit of it.

I actually really liked The Simulation. I gave that album so many spins when it dropped. But yea this album is SOOOO much better than Tomorrow We Die Alive and Soul Sphere.
@@jacksonislegend I agree, the simulation was a good album and soul sphere had some hitters on it. I feel like tomorrow we die alive was either rushed or the boys had gotten mildly burnt out. I think recording eternal reign re-invigorated them.

Omg, omg, omg.... so good, each song on this album is soooo good. These guys are amazing.
This is the reason why this band will always be one of my favorites. I felt the last album they released was amazing, but they do this, A mixture of everything and not one song turns out less than perfect. I can't believe how each opening to each song has this epic feeling to it, Each section was well thought out. The Album flows perfectly and it's rare to find this. Making heavy music something to brag about again.
For me, this is revolutionary for Born of Osiris. It’s so new and refreshing, but also a return to form. I didn’t like very much after the discovery, but this checks all the boxes and feels like they’re on track again.

I this is about someone consciously abandoning their own faith in a fit of vexation & misanthropy. They refer to themselves as lost souls - having felt cast out by those closest to them, either do to their agnostic beliefs or do to their seemingly nefarious ways.
@SympathyForTheDevil You should listen to As I lay dying, your depth and perception of songs is phenomenal, and they will definitely captivate you, especially “my own grave”. The lead singer states “this whole time I thought I was building but instead I was digging” which was his way of talking about he himself bringing down the band and getting incarcerated.

My guess from context clues and searching Wikipedia is that this woman is the goddess Maat. In the Duat (the Egyptian underworld) the hearts of the dead were said to be weighed against her single "Feather of Maat", symbolically representing the concept of Maat, in the Hall of Two Truths. Man it pains me to say but I have really started to dislike the lead vocalist in this but love the keyboard vocals (don't care to study names not gonna jerk them off anytime soon) but I just feel like he is sub par to what the band has to offer... Just sounds so bland with him, loved him in new reign but here we are with a drowned out sound
I think that's why there's the lead vocalist and backing vocalist, two completely different feels than blend quite nicely imo. I think if it was just one or the other it would get tiring pretty quick but the juxtaposition of the two is nice.
@@mikeormoab man I totally respect your opinion and thank you for not ripping my head off for mine LOL but I just get lost on the fact that he's a one note guy it's like I'm listening to misery signals or something nothing changes and he's got that same rap flow in every single song which I feel like drowns out the music in the difference between each track that's my only complaint he's obviously a talented dude and there's no taking that from him but something just makes it feel like I'm listening to the same song over and over again with those vocals there's no punctuation there's no difference in delivery it's all about just this rap style delivery singing and screaming to the beat nothing changes nothing goes off to me it's just weird bro and I hate it cuz I love this band so much and I feel like Lee has come into his own alot
@@brycenhcox Aye man, I 100% agree with you, and that is why we have tons of other amazing Metalcore bands to check out when we get bored of the repetitive ones lol ;) (Northlane for example is one of the bands I will never get tired of, their music is incredibly versatile)
