That last cleric was stacking pdr and debuff redux. That is your nemesis. Pdr stops the dagger/knife spam. Their will stops poison damage. And their perk reduces timer of debuffs further reducing your magic damage. Avoid these builds at all cost. You wont lose, but wont win either.
As a Rogue, your only counter to a PDR Cleric is Armor Penetration. Nothing else works against them as Perseverance makes Poison and Rupture deal zero damage and Protection From Evil shortens the duration to a single tick of damage.
@@marksmanmax1158 Agreed Perseverance vs Rogues, this build in particular could be particularly rough. Weakpoint/Thrust would help with the pdr aspect I suppose. Does True Magical Damage stack with Poison Weapon? If so that would negate some of the damage they are reducing?
How do you feel about this build in duos or trios? Or do you feel it only shines in solos?
3:40 is what's everything wrong with this game atm, especially with rogues. Double crossbow poison, run away with 20 knifes. Another reason why a throwable limit must come.
would be nice if rogues could fight any other way unless they start the fight with a huge advantage

The litteral assasin class with now completly silent footsteps without a perk should definitely be able to run up to whoever it wants and just straight up trade hits and win, w take dude honestly w take.
Keep going off, like rouge mains need to learn for one it's a class bases game, your class has a niche and if your not happy with playing that neich then switch?
You have a plethora of other meaningful options with drastically different play patterns.
Your unhappy with having to play around the abilities your given? Pick a class with abilities you like!
Jesus how is that so hard, invis plus instant massive damage is kinda balanced around your squishy.
But oh yeah let's give the highest dps class in the game (slayer fighters with extreme gesr is the only higher melee dps) and just give them the out of more hp more stats and what ever else all the whiners want....
It's a glass cannons class when you can two shot people in their kits with true physical dmg, building idk fringe builds probably isn't going to be the most effective?
Go watch the rouge running around with true dmg kits, he litterally two shots people with absurd move speed bonus and also still a millions throwables
What the fuck are all the rouge mains crying about, if your unhappy playing a glass cannon don't play rouge, if you just want rouge to be an all around rounded out class go play fighter fuck. Rouge is honestly fine and last season (real season) the most climbed leaderboard was rouges in almost every category, it's almost like psychological advantages like being invisible are fun to play and still complelty viable.
But if you made it this far I would love to hear how you would turn a glass cannon into an unstoppable unfindable untradeable class
I made a build like this the other day but with a bit more PDR so that I could tank hits, dudes fully kitted were dropping in 3 strikes from rupture and poison finishing them off in like 2 ticks with the +15 MDMG.
Started playing magic damage rogue again two days ago and the new stat rolls make it so fun.
this guy just missed 12 throwing knives in a row then said "playing rogue is so frustrating if i didnt have all those throwables i wouldve died"

@@Y4mi2599 and a barb without franchiscas gets kited ad infinitum, a cleric cannot possibley catch a rogue or ranger, rangers cant kill pdr fighters without crossbow and even then its a messy trade, and warlock gets to do whatever they want at anytime every class that isn't warlock has downsides. I dont think rogue looks very fun to play but its definitely not fun to play against they run around and use 300 projectiles without ever getting touched its like a player controlled death beatle.
i believe his complaint is the "assassin" class doesnt do enough damage for its hp pool and feels like the "thief" class where anything it has is offset by someone or everyone having something stronger, now everyone got creep so ye

NGL that first fight had me on the edge of my seat vs the warlock . the throwing knives vs that warlock were solid and defiantly the decider of the fight. I hope i find you in the dungeon one day good luck brother :)
Clerics were hard because most clerics run perseverance and protection from evil in goblin caves because it reduces all the DoT's from the PvE to next to nothing, but it also hard counters your build here.

this seems to vary from player to player. thelorr´s crossbows arent even loaded when equipped :D
yea I was thinking that too. Honestly think they should also limit throwables to the amount of space you have in your utility belt. So if you don't have space there you can't loot them or place them in your bag. Same for health pots and all that shit imho. People would be more inclined to think what they really need to take to the dungeon and not just filling their bag with an infinite amount of utility consumables

@@Y4mi2599 Might be misunderstanding your comment, but dagger mastery only applies to when you swing the dagger, so it doesn't work with off-hand weps like hand crossies and short swords.

Cleric's 3 less damage from every source perk protects them from most ticks, you're stacking 11 magic dmg to do 4/5 poison a tick, he's taking 1/2 due to the perk so you're basically back to being a base kit rogue as a result

i dont understand the ppl that says "rogue is op". Everytime i play this game, some other class 1 shot my ass, like barb or warlock, literally yesterday a warlock 1 shoots me with a grey weapon, we have to hit them 30 times, meanwhile they 1 or 2 shoots every rogue zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

creep needs removed, i was a heavy solo high roller player just came back after a long break this season goblin caves is ruined from creep honestly. such a joke ive been in 3k wizard kits and killed by grey rogues and fighters that just creep 24 7. its so over powered
