    I'm loving my Stage 5 amp and Blows me away Bulletine. After using the green Bullet for many years I took a while to get used to holding the smaller mic. But now that's all I'll use. Plus I used to lug around my Fender Deluxe Reverb that's I've modified. But the stage 5 is so much easier and sounds great. Pedals I'm constantly exploring.. depending on what style of music

    Dear Ronnie, I'll try to make it to the live-stream, but in case I can not a question in advance. I seems that you can get distortion in different manner : bullet mic, cupping, crunch channel on amp, distortion pedals. What are the differences between those ? Thanks Dirk.

    I just signed up, and I'm looking forward to another one of your awesome online workshops. 1) Are the new Hohner cases still planned to be released in October? 2) You have a youtube video showing the Harp Attack pedal combined with the Little Red DI - Would using the Harp Attack with a DI supplied by a venue (normally for guitar players) likely have the same result?

    • @Harmonica123
      @Harmonica123  Před 4 lety +2

      I just checked and they are delayed in production. Looks like December now. Yes, the DI at the venue with the Harp Attack will work just fine.

    Ronnie or somebody else can you tell me how to avoid feedback on my amp. I use a lot of drive to get that raw sound i like but i get so much feedback if i turn the volume down the public can't hear me over the other guys in my band. Please help because im going to freak out. Got a fender frontman 212 r and a shure bullit mic, a blues shaker, and a 1954 philips crystal mic. Thanks André

    • @Harmonica123
      @Harmonica123  Před 4 lety

      step 1: get a good tube amp 30-40 watts for a louder band. right now you have a solid state which is much more prone to feedback. step 2: volume comes from YOU, the way you breathe and hand technique. i had to learn this the hard way over several years of playing. work on your technique and you'll be able to turn down the amp, never have feedback issues and get as much volume as you want. that's the truth!

      Ronnie Shellist speaking as a guitarist, don’t stand in front of your amp, move to one side.

    @4:43 🤔 What's wrong with borrowing other people's gear? If you join a band, everyone is ready to lend you. There's no point in ^^buying stuff as a newbie.

    • @Harmonica123
      @Harmonica123  Před rokem

      Nothing wrong with it but if you're playing out a lot, it's my opinion that you should own your own mic. Also, you might get a pick up gig with a different band who doesn't have a back up mic or one that's any good. If you're a total newbie..sure you can wait.

    I'm going to take my Hohner Blues Blaster and take the Bulletini Bullet Mic element and put it into my Hohner Blues Blaster. Greg said it could be done. One guy's channel he wanted to see if it could be done and I told him it could be done. The Bulletini is one of the best Mics I have ever heard. I was told by Jason Ricci on his channel that Dennis Gruenling is the guy you want to go to who said he really knows his Mics. I think the Greg Heumann element is the best-sounding element I have ever heard. I'm surprised that Sugar Blue does not use the Heumann element. Sugar Blue uses a Shure element. He sounds great on his CD recordings but I think he would love the Greg Heumann element. I would think he knows about it I should ask him. I want the Hohner Blues Blaster because it has the XLR and the other Bullet JT 30 shells don't have XLR and are not designed for it where it comes that way with an XLR. I would like to buy a JT 30 Mic and put the XLR on the Mic. I think the shell is a better-made shell than the Hohner Blues Blaster shell and the JT 30 will sound a bit better. How much better I'm not sure how much better it will sound.
