@@nikolaskrisi think it could be because WD2 doesn't have characters they're just personalities whereas in WD1 Aiden is a proper fleshed out character
@@MrGaMeR-vf5py Yh in WD2 they are all caricatures of stereotypes. Like for example making Autism a "superpower" which ends up just being quite derogatory and hateful towards autistic people. It's like when someone writes a black character as a "positive" stereotype but it ends up just being racist. Usually because the writer themselves are lacking in knowledge but possess great ignorance towards said thing while also having beliefs that are racist although they don't see it that way because they are "doing something good".

Now that I think about it. The reputation system would be 10x better if they actually gave you advantages. (More battery, better slow-mo, more health, etc.)
As far as i know, it gives u gta-ish advantage as when you hold a gun, no one call the police, rare when stealing a car, and less often when shooting. During my recent playtrough it felt so, i didnt lower my rep however.
i tried doing a challenge where if i were ever to kill a non hostile entity, i have to restart from the last checkpoint or restart the mission as a whole, if it lowers my reputation then i have to restart. harder but fun and made me actually learn how to drive good in the game.

As other said the citizen would less likely report you to the police, also they would sometime praise you and take a picture of you in public
Civilians are less likely to call the police on you, even if you draw out a gun in public or steal a car
Also if you have low reputation occasionally an add will play on tv and instantly send the police after you.
