Completely agree with the darkness of six of crows and young elites with atmospheric books like the raven boys and circus books. A griity dark one i would recommend would be Nevernight and a atmospheric one would be the Cainsville series which deals with omens superstitions and fae and the hunt with murder mysteries.
Thanks for sharing! I do plan to read Six of Crows after I read these two library Books---The Good Widow & Final Girls. I am trying to read more thrillers/suspense this Fall.
I'm currently reading A Gathering of Shadows and Wonder Woman Warbringer. I've been so busy and too tired to read so I'm way behind but I need to finish them so I can start some creepy Halloween-ish reads for Octorber(thinking about IT but that's a REALLY long book). Great recommendations and all on my TBR list! : )
Rosamund Hodge writes some good dark fantasy. I'm pretty sure all of her book involve demons one way or another. (At least that's what I've seen in the books I've read of hers).
I like the finishing school series. And with fall/Halloween I love the argeneau series by Lynsay Sands and the Carpathian series by christine feehan. I liked caraval! :) oh! Another good spooky themed series is the temperance Brennan series.it inspired the tv show bones.ita by Kathy reichs.
