Against All Odds Update | World War Z: Aftermath

- The Against All Odds update is available today, adding fresh content, including new “Jerusalem” and “New York” Horde Mode maps, 7 new mutators for Challenge Horde Mode, and a new melee weapon: the baton.

Additionally, players have the freedom to play as any character in all PvE episodes for the first time. AI party members have also been improved and can now use heavy weapons when playing alongside you. Two new paid DLC packs are available today, as well: the Deadly Vice Weapon Skin Pack and Rat Packs Weapon Skins Bundle. Each DLC is available for $4.99 and contains four weapon skins, specially themed around these big cities.
Finally, World War Z: Aftermath players on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One can unlock a bonus in-game weapon skin and exclusive collectible trinket when they register on PROS (Prism Ray Online Services). PROS is a new platform powering online services for select upcoming games from Saber Interactive and a variety of other game providers. To sign up, players can visit prismray.io.

Despite some of the game’s problems, it did a better job at being a left 4 dead spiritual successor than back 4 blood. And still getting updates too.

One thing I'd wish you fix is the audio bugs with some weapons usually automatic weapons but the sound will sometimes entirely just cut out for the weapon and sometimes for the whole game for a good couple seconds consistently
It's a great game, but unfortunately since the post game update on ps4 is broken, the game lags, the screen freezes for a couple of seconds, even when you play offline, this problem keeps bugging and when that happens, zombies kill you even if you see your screen. it freezes the game and the zombies keep moving and during those seconds this happens they kill you can't play it fix this there's no way this is my favorite game and i can't play it.
Motivation to get a ps5
I'm on Xbox Series S and I don't have any of these problems, but I think you should try moving the graphics down a little in the settings and see if that helps. When I played on Xbox One that helped me when playing Horde Mode.

I really would like that Saber can add the mechanic of sharing medkit or other health supplies with players like the coop "Resident Evil 5"
You can heal your teammates and the bandage kit can be shared. I do think it'd be nice if you could use adrenaline on downed teammates for a quick rez.

uh, that last update broke the game in multiple ways including ps4 and ps5 players could no longer match with each other (maybe other platforms also, idk)and bundles that included a free upgrade from the ps4 to ps5 erroneously listed as costing 35+ bucks on the store. After one had already bought it. How about fixing that?

I swear I remember me and my dad playing splitscreen on this game years ago, but from what I remember last time we tried it didn't work. I don't know if it actually had splitscreen or if it's just a case of the Mandela effect...

The best horde coop zombie game to me. But if you want the best overall it's obviously L4D2 even if was released 14 years ago.

I don't know if that'd work well for multiplayer because I imagine myself accidentally shooting my teammates thinking they're a booster. But having someone wear like a gas mask for their premium skin would be sick. I think Hiroji, Sho, or Marine would look cool with one.

I'm sure we will, they did say this year will have multiple updates, some large, some small. It'd be cool to get one set in Germany, UK, Portugal, Canada, Mexico, UAE, Singapore, India maybe another American episode in Texas? The list goes on, I'm just sure they aren't gonna just end it after 7.

It's just a DLC. We need modding capabilities as did Left 4 Dead. Seriously. Cross console support is a good thing, but we really need to put moldability, just fluidity in the game. Map maker, new campaigns, New Zealand? Like snap map from DooM 2016, the customizability of Sons of the Forest (in terms of base building), mechanics need to be wholly interchangeable.

@@Allison11763 I'd say the Series X is a waste, but not the Series S. The series S is only $300 which is cheap for a gaming console. Series X is $500 at the cheapest and it just has extra storage and a disc tray. Although yeah some games are capped at 30fps the store tells you which ones aren't.

Co-op is getting really lame, same thing over n over again with different challenges… should go fix more on the server and horde mode… horde mode xl map is trash, server sucks, glitches all the time…. Plus no common sense with these game creators who literally just build a game to leave it alone.. sooo trash… start making zombies more of challenge and banning others for leaving in middle of games… so much could be done with this bomb ass game… but I see why people still go back to B.O. zombies, they care to do make it more enjoyable then dealing with trash ass server
