A nice subtle touch is when the guy on the left sneaks a look at Claire. She calmly turns and looks right back and he quickly looks away. She was so elegant and confident.
After seeing this show I really appreciated my negroe sister more but her feminist rant to Alvin was the rantings of a nonmelonated white woman not a Negroe woman it didn't fit Clair negroe women are oppressed in a totally different way all women are not sisters.
I never liked that that moment or this one was referred to as a "rant." It makes it sound as if Claire was out of control, but she was thoroughly together and collected when responding to ignorance. Her reaction here was perfect.
What's funny is Claire just then realized why she was on that show? ... That was hilarious...now at the end is the answer not to even stay in a situation like that when you realize you are being used, makes no sense to mess your own mind up that way with fools.
I ❤️d how handled herself in this...... Very mature ... calm.... Cool....but she did put them in their place.. she's was right for not wanting to control on the show! Way 2 go.... clair!
Please stop talking and laughing if you are going to put these on youtube. We appreciate your time and effort. They are really good clips and scenes but the extra noise is distracting!
I was kinda hoping Claire would be in over her head during the discussion, perhaps showing for once in the show's history that she's not the perfect, infalliable, all-knowing goddess the show constantly makes her out to be--but of course, she just has to always know just what to say in any given situation and be smarter than virtually everyone she comes across. It's hard to enjoy a character who can do no wrong.
I agree with you. Clair was always portrayed as being too perfect, and smarter than everyone on earth. Would have been nice if this episode had her being in over her head. Show even the great Clair Huxtable isn't perfect.
The show never portrayed her as perfect. She was portrayed as Lawyer and as a Lawyer she was outspoken and assertive. I just watched a clip showing Claire telling Dr. Huxtable that he gave their daughter the wrong instruction on strep strep-throat but she did that so she would have an excuse to worry and tend to her child. She definitely has weaknesses if you looked closely. Don't let her assertiveness blind her other characteristics.
Claire is so graceful and beautiful ability to argue so smoothly and diplomatically and intelligent!
Claire navigating a sea of microagressions like a boss
That wasn't microaggressions. Call it what it IS. Rudeness and willful ignorance.
We need more Claire Huckstables in the world. ASAP
We have plenty, they get accused of being bougie and imtimidating.

They don't want to embrace the fact she is correct and she was about to put them to shame.
I love this episode and I will never stop watching this show
everyone says Claire shutting Elvin down is her feminist rant. I wish this episode was more appreciated

Something about her considering her husband and his opinion about her being in the show I love so much. Such respect for their marriage and husband.
Do not mess with Clair Huxtable.
Get em Clair.
Well put, Mrs Huxtable
Not a donut. Couldn’t stop laughing.
That was the best 😂
@@sgaidola76 I'm actually eating donuts while watching this clip.
@@thegameshowguy1 😂😂
Nothing like a good ol' technicality. lol XD
We need more Claire Huxtables in this world full of Kardashians
Love this so much it’s so relevant to how women are treated
False. Women are treated much better than men.
Women are treated much better than men in the real world.
1:46 - Good point.
Thank you for my only source for this source💯❤
I wish the quality of the video was better.
0:57 - Isn't that just like a man? When he's proved wrong by a woman, he has to cover himself to save face.
Thomas Sowell an influential economist has researched and written a lot about the topic they’re discussing.
This is not a doughnut!
The bald guy took the book out of her hand and tossed it aside when it proved him wrong! Of course, this is fiction.

Claire could've turned that show arouind.
That is not a donut

CHI-TOWN REGENCY YUP
Love that woman….
Does anyone know the flute song playing at the end when Cliff is saying goodbye to the sofa?
It is funny how 'woke' in the 2020s has gone all the way to the other extreme.
That was Bill Gedde
lol no - bill isn't an actor

you still get the clip not many can afford to video record. i encourage you to be a little more grateful the clip is even there.
For real. That got annoying mad quick.
I liked it. I felt I was watching it with my mom, lol
I like the reactions. I feel like I’m watching with someone else.
