When purchasing, I looked at the cost per year. I went with the black tech pack at $329, I also bought it in march so I got the additional TP-LC pack for free.
You automatically get the 5 year warrantee with purchase so you’re paying $65.80 per year. Anything that happens to the pack gets replaced or repaired at no extra cost to you.

I feel you bro. All the tools with your name on, tracker, padlock etc tells me you only listed a few tools you've lost. It's as much the principle as the cost that people on site nick your shit. It's enough of a concern having tools in your van at night when you're too tired to empty it!
On a different tip you're not cheaping out and efficiency and quality is clearly a consideration. I'd recommend a Stanley Fatmax knife (STA010778) the angled nose and ergonomic grip is the one and surprisingly inexpensive. Knipex Stepcut is another badboy tool. All the best

New commercial I use all of those tools.
Idk if you'll see this, but get a Samsung tag(they ping off of any phone, not just iphones) incase it's stolen. And if you can, get a display picture of everything and try to keep receipts as even renters insurance should cover it if it is stolen. Or if you just need a replacement for a tool you know what it was and how much.
