No human being has the right to be THAT talented THAT young! Whichever deity created Michael was definitely showing off that day!
The King.
GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!!
Michael was 10 when this was recorded, Incredible!!!!
MJ was 11when he performed it on Ed Sullivan ,,,
He started at 5
Was a True Prodigy of Music 🔥💯
I like the version of him on Ed Sullivan talking about his love before belting out this song.
Yes! India, I know you have already reacted to this studio version, but please consider doing that. It's only 1:57 long. Here's the link: czcams.com/video/N9U9A4_cgyI/video.html
@@randall-king YES ! -- the clothes, the dance moves, the live singing -- it is such an incredible video
Oh wow. I don't think I've seen that thanks for the recommend!
Yes! I thought that’s what she would be reacting to... it’s even more incredible when you see that voice come out of that little face! Oh man, India girl, you need to see it seriously!
lady came out of s.r.a. told how they raped those boys while they were on ed sullivan show fame and fortune aren't worthe the abuse and harm and lifestyle their daddy brought apon them for the dollars.
Michael was a child prodigy. The attention took its toll on him for sure.
His fathers abuse didn't help things.
His daddy. NEVER abused him..speak what u know as facts..not the rumors..
@@1goldbabymichael said it out his own mouth.
@@dae422 he was feeding into the media!! He wasn't abused.
@@1goldbabythere’s private tapes on yt you can watch where he admits his dad used to strip them down and beat them with bags of sand
You're really gonna say that someone was lying about childhood abuse like that?? His brothers have even spoken about it. Ignoring the physical abuse, the traveling and stardom at 6 years old with no childhood is no good either. He talked about it in depth in private phone calls with Glenda that were never meant to be leaked, why would he lie there?@@1goldbaby
I am only two years younger than Michael Jackson but I followed their career since I was a kid so the Jackson 5 were a big part of my life.
@Chubby Cox True
Me Too!!!!
Same
That little Jackson boy could sannnng!
Meant for him to soar and become famous. That was not an accident either.

Yessss baby Michael sounded like he had a ex wife 3 kids and a drinking problem 😭😍👏🏽👏🏽he always gave everything he did so much heart r.i.p king
This recording is great, IMO. Michael kills it in this recording. And his brothers' background vocals are awesome, as well.
Michael was such a one in a million talent!
Love Jackson 5... I would suggest Never Can Say Goodbye, Maybe Tomorrow, The Love You Save !!!!
Michael was so talented. Loved him. May he RIP.
i remember crying at work when i heard he died. i'm 32 and now i have my 6yr old daughter listening to Michael Jackson, his music is a staple in our home! talent beyond this world

I am 60, and have been grooving with the Jacksons forever... Thank you!!
This is a cover. The original was by Smokey Robinson who wrote the song in 1960. It was on an album from Motown called The Miracles. Michael is amazing here, but check out Smokey ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Love your name - we share first but I also named my daughter Macy.
This was off their first album. It was called Diana Ross Presents the Jackson 5
My fav Jackson 5 song is “Ben”
Love it too, it reminds me of a good friend that I lost in an accident when he was 17yo. Beautiful song
Mine too!
He was only 10,maybe 11 when he recorded this, and to have that much passion on a song like this- man! My favorite J5 song is Dancing Machine.
Some of their songs:
I want you back
I'll be there
The love you save
Shake your body
Can you feel it
Enjoy yourself
He was such a genius multitalented human!!
May favorite group of all time, and one of my favorite songs of all time!
As my sister was head over heels for donny - i would just get lost in those beautiful dark eyes with that angelic voice. My heart is so broken about losing him
Smokey Robinson wrote this. And his recording with The Miracles is worth listening to.
Dianne Davis ...did not know that. Will check it out. Thank you! x
Temptation also did it
Smokey said he thought Michael's was better 🤩
@@DCLsMusic
Without Smokey this song would not be given the opportunity to reach great heights by vocalist such as Michael who put a stamp that vocalist behind him had/have patterned off of.
@@3912James for sure, credit where its due, he made the song... was just saying he made that humbling comment..
Even Smokey Robinson who wrote the song and also sang it, said he was happy to acknowledge michael sang it better lol and could not believe where he got the emotion from for what was essentially a grown ups love issues song...that was the song that announced him to everyone.
Saw the J5 live 3 times in '70 & '71. This was the highlight.
I loved this one! Man that child could sing!
“Rockin Robin” pleeeease India!! Phenomenal!❤️✌️✨
Hands down my favorite Jackson 5 song!
There's no denying that he had an amazing voice 🎤❤️🎵
'Show you the way to go' and 'Thats what you get for being polite' . My 2 fave J5 songs
Unbelievable is right! It’s absolutely OTHER WORLDLY! He’s a little guy singin like he lived a lifetime....amazing just crazy! Most folks don’t know that Smokey Robinson wrote this song. He was one of the main songwriters at Motown,, an amazing writer! When he sings the song, people be asking, ‘How come you singin Michael Jackson’s song?’ 😳😅. To only know grown Michael Jackson’s work is not really understanding how powerful his legacy is. Part of his ability to sing wit that grown conviction, besides his incredible gift & their father’s tough work ethic, with cthem being at places like the Apollo where several groups might appear on the bill in one night. Michael would stand behind the curtain watching James Brown, Jackie Wilson & folks like that. The way he sings Who’s Lovin You, wit the, 🎶 ‘I, I, I, I.....’ is direct influence of how James brown sang ballads like that. Ex: Te’Try Me’, & ‘Please! Please, Please.’ He Alicia Keys does it in ‘Falling’, at the top of one of her versus. Godfather of Soul laid a foundation. Also you should check En Vogue: a song called, ‘Hold On To Your Love’. As an intro, they start out singin a little bit of ‘Who’s Lovin You’ in the video, acapella (voices with no instrumental accompaniment). It’s pretty impressive harmonizing before the beat kick in for the song. They also covered an old Aretha hit called, ‘Givin Him Something He Can Feel’. You definitely wanna see those videos....oh yeah, also ‘Free Your Mind’ & ‘ Never Gonna Get It’.
No wonder why he's the greatest entertainer of all time, at that age wow! He's so incredible, adorable. I miss you Michael.
Love The Jackson five and Michael Jackson! I like the song "One more chance"!
I love little Michael here, such an amazing voice even then.
I tear up when I hear Michael as a child.
Yess me tooooo!!!!😭
My favorite song by Michael is She's Out Of My Life and this one.RIP Michael.😇👍🎤♥️
Another amazing Jackson 5 classic! Forever Came Today is Amazing too!
That voice will never be forgotten......wow
I loved their song "I'll Be There", Michael was my first celebrity crush. We were close to the same age. I miss him so.
My favorite Jackson 5 songs. I'll be there, Maria, Never can say goodbye, Maybe Tomorrow. Got to be there
I grew up with a crush on Michael. My first concert was the Jackson 5. His voice was so crisp and powerful but so pure and sweet! I was heartbroken when we lost him because he always was all through the years!
I loved these guys growing up - I was the same age as Michael (and I lived in northern Indiana too), so I always kind of identified with him. Imagine having that kind of presence and soul at 10 years old!
The Jacksons were a legendary musical family. Michael himself was a phenomenal singer, from such a young age. One of the greatest and smoothest acts of all time.
No kid before, after, or since has ever literally KILLED a song like this!! With that said. MJ was already the G.O.A.T at 9yrs of age, 50 years ago! All haters and imitators Bow Down!
I am about the same age as MJ. Growing up with four sister, there was no escaping the J5. They even had a Saturday morning cartoon! Our family finally got to see them live in 1973. "Dancing Machine" MJ was a giant as tall as Jackie the oldest! MJ was always the star of the group with the strongest vocals and stage presence, like a bolt of lighting on the stage.
Michael Jackson song Got to be their. Highest notes I ever heard him hit as a child
My absolute favorite..... She's hooooooome!
💖 **ONE OF THE BIGGEST LOSS'S IN MUSIC HISTORY--A MISUNDERSTOOD GENUIS, WHOSE ONLY MISSION, WAS TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE, AND ENTERTAIN US, UNTIL HIS LAST BREATH** 💖RIP little Michael 😔
I love Terence Trent D'arby's version of this song.
That voice. The One and Only.King of Pop👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😊😊😊😊😊😊These kids this generation have no ideal How Amazing MJ truly is.I think He’s About 12 of 13 yrs. old singing this song.

The Jacksons - Goin' Places.
The Jacksons - Even Though You're Gone.
The Jacksons - Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground).

These are their best tracks through the years, I hope that this helps? 🙂
Michael was the most talented singer and performer in history
No child should ever feel whatever it takes to make this song have this much behind it but baby michael was unreal
Great reaction India! Yeah, had such a crush on Michael back in the day. 😂
Such a great cut from them, glad you picked me Going off!!!! And I love this hair style the best:)
This song was written (and performed) by Smokey Robinson and recorded with The Miracles at least 10 years before the Jackson 5 covered it. This was the side B song to their first Motown single, "I Want You Back". It killed everybody that heard it. They performed a shortened version of this live on "The Ed Sullivan Show" and the little boy was a phenomenal performer and an instant star and sensation. Smokey himself was amazed that a kid that young could feel and deliver those grown up lyrics with that kind of style and conviction.
React to Never Can Say Goodbye by The Jackson 5.
I still cant comprehend that this is a 10 year old singing like this, he was certainly a gift from God
I loved "Ben," the one you are listening to, "I'll Be There," and "ABC." Probably more but those are what I remember.
Little Michael all soulful!!!! 🤘❤🤘😁✌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
R.I.P. THE KING OF DELIVERING ANY TYPE OF SONG. YOU CAN CALL MICHAEL THE MAILMAN , HE DAMN SURE KNOWS HOW TO DELIVER A SONG!!!!!!!
First time I heard this I was 9 years old. Also heard him perform this live when I was ten going on eleven so I had a second row seat and saw this in person.
Wow....Saw him in person.
@@terry21651 Yes I did. Lol
"Sugar Daddy" is one of my faves...
Ooooh!! Glad you started reacting to some Jackson 5...
This song in particular makes me want to recommend you react to En Vogue! They sampled this song for their song Hold On.
How could someone so young have so much soul. I would say that man has sou.l That is pure classic RHYTHM &BLUES. talent galore. India you look mighty fin. How about dinner tonight. Your right on, on Michael.
I love when he did song "Puppy Love" it was just to cute, him all of maybe 9 years old.
I dont care what ANYONE thinks of him personally but DAMN this man was one of a fecking kind.
Diana ankudinova is a young performer who shocks us with her pleasant voice and takes us into the abyss of events!!!
Diana Ankudinova sings beautifully 💕
i heard michael jackson for the first time in 1984, with the song "thriller" and the video that was a boom here in peru imposed a very strong fashion !! I wanted his red jacket with black stripes and the song I like the most about the Jackson Five is "ben" and "ill be there"
This song and "Ben" are my favorites. Thanks for reacting
The King of Music.
I'm a 194cm 240kg soild muscle man and I love and miss MJ. Love from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤️ 😭
Hi India, Love me some Michael. A group called En Vogue Sang this intro to a song called Never gonna get it. Even if you don't react to it, just listen to it. It's really good.
So you know this is a cover from Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. Motown had songs written for multiple artists on the label to record. Smokey was always one of the main songwriters on Motown. He and Berry Gordy were two of the main guys who were at the foundation of Motown’s development. Of course The Miracles version of Who’s Lovin You came out years before J5 who signed toward the end of Motown’s prime which was the 60’s.
This Ain’t A Love Song by Bon Jovi...I promise you’ll love it! And Michael Jackson had such a gift. This song proves it.
Classic.... 1st time i think I've seen you play a tune right through...lol LOVE YOU REALNESS XX
Listen to Who Is It by MJ. One of my favorites when I was a kid.
I always loved Man in the mirror by Michael Jackson.
Wow! What a talent and voice. Incredibly moving. Especially for such a young person. He had a depth beyond his age. Cheers from Canada
Thank you, India! Since you're in deep w/early J5, you may want to try "Maybe Tomorrow". It's a little less known, but it is Beautiful. 🌸 🙏
Always wondered where that depth and emotion came from, since he had like 10 in this
I was the same age as Michael when he sang this, I've always loved his music!! We has The Jackson Five and The Osmonds, I think The Jackson Five were a bigger hit!!
my personal favourite song!!!!!! Yes the beautiful innocents is just overwhelming. Love love love thank you for the post. You made my night..
amazing voice, Micheal Jackson.
Isn’t beautiful and sad at the same time hearing ghis wonderful voice of an infant MJ? I don’t kniw, is soooo cute but I can’t help thinking how this huge talend was mislead and caused so much struggles on him... 😭
Listen to “Ben” it win won an Academy Award in the 70s
Isabel Leger It won a Golden Globe award.
Sweetie, I enjoy watching you express my expressions that I can’t express. Keep hanging out, Girlfriend!
Becky Chasteen You expressed that pretty well.
India You gotta play the one when they was on Ed Sullivan you will be blown away
Never can say goodbye is a good one. The love you save, Dancing Machine.
My favorite jackson 5 song is "Torture" such a great instrumental and michael jackson was not really in the music video they used a wax mannequin
Its amazing growing up in Jamaica how much were were far more exposed to contemporary American music. I dont believe that there is anyone who was born in Jamaica who would not have heard these songs from the 60s 70s and 80s, they were mainstream on teh radio waves. I am shocked listening to these reaction videos and discovering that the culture of listening to music daily was not part of teh US music landscape. Too many people I find have never heard these songs
This is how I will always remember him girl I am telling you what. Smokey said it best when it came to this little man.
Your joy is contagious. Cheers.
I was 9 or 10 when I first heard this. It was the B side of “I want you back”! Which was a big hit! I had all their songs an of course like all the other little girls, I was in love with MJ! I’m 63 now 😂🔥🔥🔥
Hello this my first time on your channel! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for listening to the studio recording of this song! Other people reacted to the Ed Sullivan performance which was great, but to listen to the entire studio recorded song, you can REALLY hear and appreciate the voice of 11 or 12yr old MJ! I appreciate you for that!
Smokey Robinson wrote and recorded this song in 1960 on Motown. Here are more songs of the younger Michael: "I'll Be There", "Got To Be There", "Ben", "Never Can Say Goodbye", "Don't Know Why I Love You" (originally recorded by Stevie Wonder"), "Sugar Daddy". He has gems as a teenager/young adult (The Jacksons). Give a listen to: "Push Me Away", "All I Do Is Think Of You" (this song was redone by Troop in 1989), "That's What You Get For Being Polite". I have listened to Michael since I was 5 years old.
A born star... but don't discount his brothers .. those harmonies, instrumental skills.. then Janet came! One family of superstars!! Incredibly talented and hard working!
Fan-frieking-tastic
India, love your reaction! You would love Michael singing "Never Can Say Goodbye", cover of Clifton Davis song
"damn baby" love it!!
My favourite Jackson 5 song is Ben (it's about a rat btw). My favourite version of this song is Louisa Johnson on Britain's Got Talent
Jackson Five: ABC, I Want You Back, I'll Be There, Never Can Say Goodbye, Dancing Machine, Ben....
The song ‘Who’s Loving You’ was side B on the 45 release of their first single ‘l Want You Back.
You need to see the live version. He tells this great little story and he shows how really awesome he was live at 10 years old (and looking about 6 yrs old).
