Muy buena idea!!!.Práctica y novedosa.Un abrazo Félix !.
Felix is the kind of fella you want to hang out with. Seems like a genuine good guy. Take care buddy.
Thanks for this wonderful compliment!
Makes handy cordage. I've heard this called a withee. I have made it mostly from hazel, but also had success with young maple. I have been able to work through stiff parts where an offshoot branch comes out by using a smooth rock or a stick. I'll put the piece I'm working on a platform of flat wood or stone and gently tap the bark to break it loose from the inner fibers. This should be a common topic on bushcraft and survival channels, but nobody talks about it. Thanks for sharing it, Felix!
Thanks a lot for your super interesting comment!
Willow bark is very strong, but what you taught us is inspirational and most practical. Brilliant! Felix, thank you so much for this video. *Hugs* Wendi
Hello Wendi. Thank you so much for this wonderful compliment!
I have never seen a video of yours that was a waste of time... it's all very useful, and necessary for good purpose! This one addresses a very serious need for bushcrafters, and the information is both simple, yet very valuable. There are many bushcrafting channels that I subscribe to, but yours has LONG been (and continues to be!) my topmost favourite! Thank you for this! 🙂👍
Wowwwwwww your comment make me happy! Thanks for your compliment!
@@FelixImmler Ive been wondering... have you ever heard of a "Chippewa kitchen"? Do a CZcams search for it - I bet if anyone could make one with just a Swiss Army Knife, it would be you! Good idea?? 🙂
Felix! You are the reason why I after about 25 years of using only a Leatherman, ordered myself a Victorinox!
You have SO many ingenious ideas and wonderful hacks🤩
Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback!
I bet you would be the best scout master ever!
Your compliment makes me super happy! Thank you so much!
Natural handmade cordage, that's where it all started. Excellent video. Fun Friday with Felix. Thanks for all the Great info. Bravo
Thanks for your super nice feedback and for your support every friday!
I just discovered your channel and it made me so happy!! You are a breath of fresh air, truly knowledgeable, with a friendly demeanor and not using 5 million "tactical" tools. I like that you use realistic tools, propose truly useful applications and show us the real effort of making the projects. Thank you!! 😊
Thank you so much for this super nice comment!!!

Your insights into how we can use the natural world always amazes me, Felix!
Hello Craig. Thank you so much!
Excellent idea. I will teach this to my grandchildren..to use it to make a raised bed tent.
Outstanding!!!! So many bushcrafters use paracord but few show how to use natural cordage. Buy the way TA Outdoors mentioned you in one of his videos. This is the third bushcrafter that has mentioned you. You are ver popular around the bushcraft and survival community. Thank you teacher. Respect from Florida US 🌴
Hello Richard. Thank you so much for this interesting hint!!

Wow! That is amazing. Thanks, Felix, and a thanks to Sepp.
yes...Sepp is my hero 🙂 🙂
I especially like the part where you can leave part of the branch as it was. That's a fantastic way to avoid needing to tie a knot.
Thanks a lot Michael!

Great stuff Felix!
Thanks for the technique Felix, I always loved making handmade ropes but I just couldn't get the materials I needed from the tree twigs because they would just split when I try to bend them. This little trick is perfect for extracting the fiber out of them for more complex ropes. Thanks a bunch!
Nice, good stuff! Great tip/skill/knowledge. Love the tripod lash with a kettle hook! Very cool!
Hello William. Thanks a lot for your compliment!
