    thanks for the video. I've heard they can be too light for outside juggling? I'm looking for a new set of clubs, coming from the heavier Renegade 95's.

    • @JugglingMastery
      @JugglingMastery  Před 3 lety

      Fishfish Yeah every club can be too light for that.
      Always go to manufactures site and check the weight before.
      And you can always add weight by adding tape.
      Henrys clubs have really good knobs but they dont survive on asfalt for long time, so if you gonna do that, maybe Play knobs could work better. They are heavier but lasts longer outside.
      (They are coming up with some new lighter knobs tho, so again, check the weights before on their site)

    Hey Lauri,
    I was thinking about buying the Pirouettes Grip, you said that the Delphines work better with multiplexes and bodyrolls , can you tell me from your experience what are the Pirouettes best for? and is the Grip really helpful or does it annoy while you juggle?
    Also, my goal is to go high with numbers (Atleast 5 I guess ;-) ), Wanted to know If the Pirouettes are the right ones for it and if there are other ones better for this purpose?
    P.s. I haven't seen a short version of Pirouette Grip do you know if they exist?
    Thanks a lot,
    I appreciate the help

    • @JugglingMastery
      @JugglingMastery  Před 4 lety +1

      orel chertkow Delphins work better with multiplexes, hitting and bodyrolls for me, other people may have different opinions.
      Pirouettes work better (in my experience) with high throws and body throws.
      Some people like the grip and others dont.
      You just have to try and see.
      If you want short handle but with grip, I would recommend Play’s PX4 quantum or EX1. Those designes are made to be similar to delphins.
      (But I would recommend to get Henrys knobs to those clubs. Play knobs are more heavier).
      At the end of the day it all comes down to this: what clubs work best for you and what do you like the most?

    • @JugglingMastery
      @JugglingMastery  Před 4 lety

      Richard Veldkamp Haha! I have talked to many of the best jugglers in the world and never heard that.
      I use delphins because of the short handle and longer top. Pirouettes have longer handle and shorter top part.
      It all comes down to what is it that you do. Delphins work better for multiplexes and bodyrolls (for me) and I do lot of those.
      Pirouettes work better for bodythrows (for me) and I dont do those so much.
      It depends what are you doing with them.
      Like I say in the video, delphins work for me with the type of juggling that I do 👌

      Lauri Koskinen Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your personal club choice. I’m in California, so I’ll likely order my clubs from Renegade (in Santa Cruz), but could you please clarify one other question. Their website offers 2 choices for Henry’s Delphin clubs: (1) Henry’s Delphin Long (52 cm long with a relatively short handle and longer club body), or (2) Henry’s Delphin Short (49 cm long with a shorter handle and it uses the pirouette body - which is also shorter). Which Henrys club model are you using? Thanks - I’ve found your tutorials to extremely helpful. The time you put into them is really helping to benefit other jugglers. I’m considering getting on board with your juggling mastery course.

    Hey Lauri,
    This is awesome.
    I Just got back into juggling. Now in my 50's
    I got a set of 3 Henrys Pirouette.
    Much nicer than the heavier padded training clubs I got in London back so long ago.
    Anyway. I am pretty happy, Can turn 3 clubs again.
    Thoughts on this brand?
    Any tips for smoother juggling and less hand impact?

    • @JugglingMastery
      @JugglingMastery  Před rokem +1

      Henrys piruettes are really good clubs.
      Tips on less hand impact, it’s all about technique.
      Think about how you would catch an egg. You need to decelerate that speed or it will crack.
      Same thing with clubs (but not so much ofcourse). You need to relax and decelerate that speed little bit during impact. With practice it will look exactly the same but wont hurt your hands
