we have raced those bikes lots of times they are so close I couldn't tell you which one is faster. sometimes the Honda wins sometimes the kx wins. Kinda depends on who is riding each one.
i used to race a hare scramble series and boy those crf150s from like 13 and back r slow cause i beat a few on my ttr125, cant wait to get my cr250 though

It depends a klx110 has less power but is more a play / pitbike then a kx100. The klx is shorter but you can get a bigger bar so that your knees wont hit the handlebar. You could probably also get a aftermarket kit to make your bike taller. A kx100 is more a motocross bike and needs more service then a klx. It has alot more power and is taller. You can't really say that its a pitbike. I would go with a klx110 if i was you.

Kx100 should take Everytime, 20lbs lighter, more hp, if riders equal
well, it could have been the rider. not only that he weights more but he probably messed up shifting somehow
When I raced back in 08 the 150r raced with the super minis like the kx100 ktm 105sx
The trick with the kx100 is that you can big bore it to 107cc Which definately makes it faster and it doesn't increase weight.

There are CRF150 and CRF150R . The CRF150R is a race bike. The plane CRF150 is a trail bike like the TTR.

get a 250 just lower it you will outgrow the kx100 in no time I'm 5 4 right now and fell to big for it
The 100 is ideal for you to learn on a 250 is a bit much till you can handle it
