- Dollar Tree summer indoor/outdoor decor projects for under $5!
Besides the paint and stain, I created both of these projects using all Dollar Tree products! I LOVE the way they turned out! This copper planter makes me want to cover everything in caulking!! Also, I know I say caulking funny, I always have. đ I hope you enjoy the projects, and if you recreate them, tag me on Instagram so I can see!

It is nice to see someone break out of the farmhouse style mode that everyone else has been doing. Not that this isnât farmhouse but that it is new stuff, thanks!
thank you â€ïž
Exactly. That style isn't me, really, but this is great! Thanks so much.
Nice look
Could you use bubble wtap?
Ok, letâs be honest here.... you can be given a piece of chewed gum and youâd create a fricken masterpiece with it!!! Youâre just on another âdiyâ level here on the Tube!
I totally agree!
He's amazing!
OMG! Itâs so true!!!!!!!
Totally agree!
Indeed
Praise God. Youâre amazing. Thank goodness itâs dollar tree items so we all can do it.
Aww thank you! â€ïž
@@JustinWray I don't do instagram but I did do the pound thing on fb with your name.lol came out awesome
Love the Moroccan music in the background of your video. I lived there for years with my husband and my ears perk up whenever I hear it. Ahhh the sounds of classic Moroccan wedding music.
Crazy gorgeous! You would never know you started with Dollar Tree products. These are stunning! Thank you for the inspiration and sharing!!
Thank you for watching!! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Brilliant!
These projects are amazing. I appreciate that they donât cost a ton (letâs face it you could spend a fortune at the $1 store for some projects). and yet they look store bought. Thank you.
Very true! I try and keep the materials and cost down to a reasonable amount for everyone, and myself! I love a beautiful and inexpensive project! đ
Copper, my favorite kitchen metal. This planter works for me. The vase was beautiful, too. Enjoy your life, Cheryl
Thank you! You too! â€ïžđ„°
You are in a class of your own! Yours is the first account I've seen festuring dollar store makeovers that actually deserve to be called 'high end'. Cant wait to see what you do next.
Thank you! đ€â€ïžđ„°
I would never have imagined how to make that planter. Your ideas are refreshing and so classy. They don't look like DIYs. New Subscriber for sure now
Thank you!! đ€â€ïžđ„°
I am curious if one of the back /body rollers with the knobby pegs for massage would work as well for the indents? â„ïžLove the ideas, first time watching.
You will sure love his Channel!!! #Justin is absolutely great!! I was tripping out with his DIY Bead Chandeliers! WOW!!!!
Your crafts are great! Sometimes when people do Dollar tree crafts they're tacky!!
thank you âșïž
Absolutely gorgeous!!! That hammered copper planter! Out of this world đ đ
thank you đ€â€ïžđ„°
Your projects are so different and so polished looking. Very refreshing change to all the same DT diyâs!
Thank you!! â€ïžđ„°â€ïž
Truly amazing an affordable diy that doesnt look cheap I'm so glad I found your channel
Thank you! đ
Who else has a spray paint addiction đ I think I'm close to 100 different cans and don't even ask about my acrylic stash #craftcrazy
haha me! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Amber Garnett me love it
Yep.
And my yarn is OUT OF CONTROL
Oooo lordy
@@doralee4870 Agree- not into yarn but have a new high quality glue gun .... so many projects to do now
@Amber Garnett, I too admit to spray paint issue-LOL. Not 100 cans like you but I aspire to your level . Got quality glue gun recently so things are gonnaâ get crazy
Outstanding DIYs. Please bring us more of these projects. Thank you.
Thank you! đ€
You can totally drill some drainage holes and put some little blocks on the bottom to lift the planter as well! How cool! Thanks for the video Justin!
KyEstra â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
I love how your designs end up looking so high end and not cheesy. I plan on recreating the lanterns for my Zen style balcony.
thank you đ
Where have you been all my crafting life! So glad I found you, and your projects look so high end. TFS! âđđâ€
Thank you so much! đ€
These are so creative!! Much more in depth and time consuming steps than most diy decor videos I watch, but I'm someone who loves the repetitive motion of painting 40 small blocks while watching a show so these are actually feasible for me to makeđ
Thatâs what I do! I enjoy the process of crafting! đ„°
I love these projects! They definitely don't look like they were made with Dollar Tree supplies, and they're more sophisticated than most of the projects I see.
My gosh, these both are so awesome!!! I absolutely LOVE watching your videos, and how you explain everything so well as you go.
Thank you! I never know if Iâm over explaining đ€Ł I appreciate the love â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
@@JustinWray no, you explain perfectly!
Very classy. Iâm so glad glue guns and roses sent me over to you!
Thank you! đ€
me too!!!!
Heck ya!!!
You are just RIDICULOUSLY creative and talented! Wooww!!!
Thank you! đ€â€ïžđ„°
Omg! Sitting here watching all of your videos. You got it going on! Your channel should have a million subscribers!
Aww thank you! Iâm happy you are enjoying!! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
The wooden candles at the beginning are so pretty and I got an oriental feel from them. The copper tin, that hammered look was amazing, no...it is genius!! Ty for sharing.
Thank you and thank you for watching!! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
I just stumbled across you and LOVE these projects! Much higher end than the typical Dollar Tree diys. Subscribed and looking forward to your projects!
Thank you so much! đ
The planter looks so good! You might want to take a hammer and nail to punch drainage holes in the bottom. Thatâs what I do with mine. Love that texture you added!đđ
Very nice. I like both projects. They look professionally done. Iâm really tired of seeing people doing the same crafts over and over and they look very homemade.
This is soooo satisfying to watch!!!! Subscribed already and my notification is on. Don't wanna miss any of your creative DIYs
Awww thank you so much! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
My dad taught me this years ago Used to build houses under construction so that must be where he learned it but if you add soap to your water regular dish soap it will help to smooth out that caulcking even more... It works with most silicone based putties and drywall muds... With the drywall mud sometimes you mix the soap right into it to help it may smooth and don't be afraid to use a tablespoon or 2 for a project like the when you're working on it seems like a lot but it works.you could probably skid the extra smoothing you did on you project... since you pattern was so dense the very first smoothing you did with out water may have been sufficient than you wouldn't need to worry about it drying out silicone based caulks will dry out now matter what it is a chemical reaction so the faster you work with the less you have to dig...lol. you can get all kinds of different caulking from the home store too. Just a few things my dad taught me that i thought might be helpful
that is is! Thank you! I love learning a good tip đ
Awesome pieces. Can't believe people gave you thumbs down. FYI Using a lazy susan to paint or when gluing around your project is a time saver and easier, as you don't have to handle it as much, just turn the lazy susan. Works wonders for spay painting too.
Thanks for the tip! đ€ I never thought of doing that! That could save so much time! And thank you for watching! đ„°â€ïžđ€
Iâm sooo glad that I found your YT channel yesterday. Your projects are truly a breath of fresh air.
I love the look of both of these! Absolutely gorgeous high end looks for next to nothing! Great ideas! Thank you!
Thank you so much! đ
I canât get over how good your diyâs are! Never cheesy just great!
Thank you!! â€ïž
You did an amazing job on both project. Hands down the planter was the most amazing.
Thank you! â€ïž
Wow, what great ideas. Using caulk as a base is brilliant! Thank you so much for putting all that effort into your designs and video.
Thank you so much! âșïž
How have I never seen you before?? Well you're stuck with me now. lol This was amazing!
Lol thank you! Iâm happy you enjoyed! â€ïžâ€ïž

You, my dear, are brilliant!! Never in a gazillion years would I have thought to use caulk that way. Well done!
Thank you! đ€â€ïžđ„°
I LOVE that copper color. Super FANTASTIC IDEAS. đ„°
Thank you!! â€ïžđ„°â€ïž
VERY CREATIVE, NOT SEEN THAT TECHNIQUE BEFORE. ** wanted to clarify, the metal planter is what I commented on. Really Great project.
â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Hammered look - I have yet to try it, but I've seen people cover things with crumpled foil (like you use in the kitchen), then paint. I'm going to experiment soon.
You should! Iâve never thought of the crumpled foil, thatâs a great idea! đ
In the 70âs my sister wall papered our bathroom with crumpled aluminum foil using rubber cement. It looked amazing!
I love this! One thing though, I think a lot of us like watching DIY videos in order to relax or before falling asleep, maybe you could use less upbeat music?
Thatâs very true, I hadnât thought of it that way. I appreciate you telling me that. â€ïž I do the same myself so that makes complete sense. Thank you! đ€â€ïžđ„°
I do, too. But, I have to put on some kind of news commentary so I can really fall asleep. The DIYs are too good and I WANT TO SEE! BTW, I made the candle holder and somewhere I lost my place and the tiles got crooked on one side. Iâll be more careful next time. I love both of these projects. â€ïž
WOW... You are killing the game...!! Bubble wrap may have been faster.
thank you â€ïž

Hi Justin, I hope your day is going well for you. So I tried block lantern just last night and let dry over night. I pick one of the lantern up and the blocks came apart.
