Walter, you mentioned briefly Meister Eckart, Christianity and non duality and there's a retired Baptist minister up in Vermont who's written probably 10 books on non duality and Christianity and he might be an interesting interview. He seems completely legitimate and has plenty of CZcams videos you could check out. His name is Marshall Davis. Just a suggestion.
Eckert tolle is a brilliant man and most definitely realized , at least he was. But one thing that has always been missing from Tolle's lectures is a powerful and all encompassing transmission of Self to Self from here to here . Without that as the primary focus , the so called enlightenment becomes mentally co opted .
Is Andreas saying that there is an apparent you, but ultimately that is an illusion part of the dream? Because in this reality the sense of I and it's decisions literally shape the outcome of whatever this is. So there is an I, but it's only part of the dream?
The problem with uncompromising non duality is that it clings overly to the negative and thus sounds very nihilistic. Whilst there is no thing this too can be negated and so equally there is No "no thing", This negating the negative should then silence all the negative verbiage. Because let's face it whilst there is no separate person, no experience and experiencer there is this interview happening, there is knowing. Whatever we are or are not there is the knowing of sounds, sights, feelings, objects, but what knows this isn't an object but pure subject. This pure subject isn't a thing but neither is it the opposite of a thing, it knows the opposites , it knows that there is no person as equally as it knows that there is a person.A self can claim that it experiences and is a real thing, it can also claim that it doesn't experience and it isn't a separate thing. Both are claims. Claiming happens. Attempting to explain non duality in a nihilistic way is happening, until it isn't happening.

The sense of “I am” is the dream of someone with a separate independent existence it’s a dream. An illusion. Maya. Imagination.
