One of the best from the brand and super nice smell and last forever! I think it was good for them to release a fragrance lite this for sales and to get people to try more from the house! Its a solid love😍
Absolutely gorgeous fragrance!! I find Uncut Gem to be an incredibly sophisticated clean fragrance. One of my favorite Frederic Malle fragrances. I prefer this to Xerjoff's Nio which I also adore. I also feel a woman can wear this one especially during the day or in the evening in warmer weather.🧡🌞
I love the chemical freshness this scent gives. on the flip side.... Acne Studios Par Frederic Malle is another chemical freshness done right, Suzy Le Helley did a similar trick wit aldehydes instead of Ambrocenide which is used by Maurice Roucel masterfully in uncut gem , Suzy is also at Symrise and is only 32. She was a student of Maurice Roucel and Annick Menardo. I love both scents. and will be wearing all summer.
I enjoy wearing Synthetic Jungle both in summer and in winter. It is very long lasting and gets me a lot of compliments.

This is Malle attempt at creating a Sauvage/Aventus best seller type of scent .
Price is really too high but there is nothing to hate on this scent, it's really great, versatile, formal or casual. Huge dose of ginger and a slightly smoky angelica with a warm musky ambery drydown

I tested uncut gem & I found it very mediocre! I expected more from Maurice Roucel ! I even prefer Bogart pour Homme created by Maurice Roucel to uncut gem! FM fragrances had better fragrances in store such as music Ravageur by the same Maurice Roucel or French lover.... So why releasing this mediocre fragrance & pretending it's the personal scent of Maurice Roucel? Not my cup of tea for sure! Cheerio & thanks for the review!
