You know, you can't please everyone. Keep your videos "long winded" for us folks that want to learn how you do things, appreciate you taking time to do this and keep it real. Like you said, this is real life.

There are videos to satisfy every need. Some like their videos long and some like them short. I usually look at how long the video is and decide whether I am going to watch it or not especially on a how-to video. Some videos, in my opinion, are done for the how-to aspect only or the social. I think this one is for both.

My first impression of your salsa/canning video was "oh please don't make me watch you chop all that stuff, please don't drag it out!" However, by the end, I was smiling and slowed down enough to get right into this delightful experience. Thanks!

Hello, Linda. I came across your video on dry canning hamburger meat yesterday. That was the first one of your videos that I had ever seen. Since then, I have watched probably 15 videos and subscribed to your channel. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. It is refreshing to find that I am not alone in the world as a person unable to tell a short story. ;-) I am looking forward to trying several of your ideas for meals in a jar. I LOVE garlic, so it is nice to find someone that is not afraid to use it. I have not browsed your channel page enough to see if you are still doing new videos. The ones that I have seen have all been from 2012. If you are still at it, good., Keep up the great work.

Linda,my daughter makes a huge amount of salsa each Summer but even after gifting quite a bit, some goes bad and gets thrown out.
She has commented that she thinks canning will take away that fresh taste so your idea of adding fresh bits to it after opening ,is great.
I'm going to tell her to watch this video😊
All the comments about (no recipe!),evidently those folks don't realize that good salsa isn't a precise thing!

a tip from one cook to another if you put your garlic in a mason jar and shake it, the first good shakes will break the head apart. take them out take away all the skin that came off the put it back in there and shake it some more all of the remaning skin will come off love doing this it saves me so much time and I like the fact that you tell me what you are doing and why. Thank you.

I know this is a much older post of yours by years. But I just found you this week and I am just watching as many of your videos in a day as my time will allow. Thank you so much for posting ALL these videos. I enjoy them immensely and your attitude is quite contagious, I must add. Sooooo, one of the things that I have been remiss about making and canning salsa is that it tastes very different from freshly made. I was reading on a website about canning salsa and they laid out some rules to follow. I will share one of rules expressed as a direct quote below that stood out:
"Every time that we open a can of homemade salsa, we add fresh ingredients to the mixture before serving. We add diced onions, diced peppers, cilantro, and even minced garlic to give the salsa that fresh kick.”
I wanted to share this because it gave me an “aha” moment and perhaps solves my issue with canned and/or jarred salsa. Have you ever tried this approach? And do you think it may make a difference in terms of taste and texture? Or not even necessary and is enjoyable straight from the jar since all your ingredients are fresh w/o preservatives and other garbage? I was just curious. Have a great day and I will continue to scour your videos. 😍
ETA: BTW, I am a newbie canner. I have only canned Sweet Pepper Chili so far and I have become hooked. I tell ya, HOOKED! 😀

Because of illness I had not watched your program for a long time... I see it today where you say or call your silence as a Mexican salsa... I don't think there's any such thing as Mexican salsa would you make salsa and we also make what we call Chile... and we make that one on what we call or we have a stone grinder and in Spanish is called a molcajete that's where we make our Chile in... But we do make salsa and everybody makes us but don't worry about what we are they might call it it's still the same except the chile that one is made in a molcajete and it is very hot and spicy and it's made with tomatoes or hito they are called in Mexico and they don't add garlic but they do I get rock salt although my daddy liked it with garlic in the stone grinder AKA molcajete. But I love what you're doing today God bless you and you take care... Earlier today I saw and you were in a different kitchen did y'all move. God bless you have a great day today May 24th 2020

the only reason i tried to grow tomatoes this year ( hate tomatoes for the most part) was to make salsa ( i like em that way :-) ) I got like 5 tomatoes so far... EPIC BSM Fail Lol... Oh well I can look at your videos and I shall stay inspired to try harder next year... looks awesome Linda!

I like the long winded versions because I'm new to all this and want all the information.

I have the same food processor as you and am glad to see that I am not the only one who's bowl likes to leak down the center, too. :)

thanks, I added extra cider vinegar. It was good but it will have to have a bit more tweaking and a lot more hot for my eldest son. Everyone else will love the first attempt.
Got 7 pints of my first attempt.
