Dude, wow. Great whistling techniques. Very inspiring.
Thank you! Hope you can learn some and have fun ;)
I've actually instinctively learned all but 1 of these techniques over my years whistling. :D The only one I hadn't done before or practised is polyphonics, just because the idea never struck me.
Huh even paper drive?!? Tf how
Do u even think of paper drive
The growl is the train whistle for me
Impresing moves my man! Im looking to start because of you
Wow. Love this.
All of them except polyphony - I also use my throat to produce flutter tongue using a uvular trill (like the french R sound), starting to get good control when fluttering, the speed and going in and out of it while holding a note,
Amazing!
Amazing ❤️
So cool man
Awesome! Could you explain how you do the polyphonic whistling please? I got videos when I do polyphonic overtone singing, but that technique doesn't work for whistling :)
Sure, it's on my list of tutorials to make!
Super! Thanks :)
Yeah. Sing at the same time. Use the air you push out to sing to make the whistle.
@@lolocaust4967isn't that the growl though?
@@ThoseMadFoxes4330 not quite. The growl makes the lower tone. The whistle makes the higher tone.
There are a couple of ways to do it. You don't always have to growl, you can literally sing and whistle at the same time. Or you can growl and push your tongue to the roof of your mouth to restrict the airflow which causes a whistle like overtone.
Although I'm no expert (yet) this is how I understand it to work. I can sing and whistle. The tongue on the roof of the mouth method evades me still. I find it a little tricky as I have a rather large roof of my mouth due to a thumb sucking addiction as a kid lol.
Pretty incredible skills
Thank you!
What's the difference between warble and vibrato?
And can you combine them to a warbrato?
In vibrato, the sound is uninterrupted and the pitch shift is continuous, and always goes between 2 notes. In warbling, the sound is interrupted and the pitch jumps rather than glides. and it can be used for any phrase, not just trills. Warbrato sounds like fun, but not sure how practical it would be.
And here I thought I got most of it down. How the hell do you do the growl? That was awesome.
I think it's actually "just" singing simultaneously. Appeared in one of the Asterix movies :D
Do you have more videos with the growl technique
the inhale and in and out
this one i do for funzies
Polyphonics and warbling are the 2 i havent gotten down yet
Same
Same here
스고이~!
It's easy for me. I can whistle since when I was 5
Warbling is the best and I could never learn
check out my (old ish) tutorials!
Sure brother I can try them 🙏
The only thing i cant do consistently is warbling and polyphonics. I can do it but not as smooth as you
BONZA
I've got to learn that warble! The rest I can do
Warbling, almost. I’ll practice. The rest? No. Awesome.
I can whistle with two types : high and low type and cant whistle same amount tones with one type of whistling. How can i advance my technique?
Do both using "k" and "t" like consonants to "split" the whistle count as the same technique?
The principle should be the same, and you should be able to do it without the consonant!
what is the paper drive?!?!?! I've never tried THAT!! Also, how do you do polyphonics? it's not the same as growling (singing through your whistle) is it?
hahaha the paper overdrive is easy and fun! poly is not the same as growling, i
it’s actually two whistled notes
@@YukiTakeda oh okay ^.^ and since your vid I’ve been whistling at paper edges a BUNCH! and have found different materials (leaves too!) to work well ^^
@@YukiTakeda hey, besides blowing across the edge, what else is there to the paper overdrive? What a cool technique!
@@ThoseMadFoxes4330Not so much more actually...
Hi, man, I'd like to know how you blow out this video after 50 seconds, and how you blow out many videos at the beginning. Oh, MAIGA, I think that sound is too difficult to learn. Is it the tongue against the lower lip?
I use the “cheek warbling” for that part. You can watch my tutorial on it :)
That's a weird looking bird
Can you tell me how do you do that fast vibrato???
I say u’u’u’u’u really fast with my throat, but make that silent. Hope it helps!
@@YukiTakeda dang! It's hard HAHA
I watched this video hoping I could find a more “advanced” way and whistling turns out I got ur down to a T
how can i learn these techniques? how can i master whistling?
For some of the techniques I have a tutorial on my channel!
Interesting how I used to 5 of theses without knowing their names 😅
My...I feel so stupid
I guess you gave explanation while whistling only..
Check the description, I put a blog post about this video there ;)
Attends mais tu siffles trop bien! Tu fais des cours particuliers?😅
oui j’en fais en ligne
@@YukiTakeda cool!
@@YukiTakeda where and how do you give lessons. I am interested.
What that mouth do?
Me:
Mariah Carey who?
I can’t growl or poly…. Otherwise
আপনার প্রতিভা দেখে আমি তো বেহুস
I can't whistle
There are many videos on CZcams explaining how - but it's best to practice based on your native language. What is your native language?
HI Umberto, I recently made a whistling tutorial for complete beginners! please check it out
