-ALL the shows in this tour were in stadiums, SOLD OUT ALL
-We got boxes with our tickets that had a video in it, a book, the CD, patches, and more, did i mention the stage popped up as you opened it
-Everyone got bracelets that lit up with the music, at some points giant snakes were going through the lights in the bracelets
-The energy for her concerts are like no other ive ever seen and felt
that is so amazing. she is so thoughtful and detail orientated

The part where she sings Love Story with her band always gets me a little emo because a lot of the band members that come out have been playing that song with her for like a decade! A lot of those guys have known her since she was like 16 and she's 30 now. She's really really loyal to her band and pays them year round, even when they're on hiatus between albums, not touring, or even doing press.
I remember years ago she used to make a lot of vlogs (before they were really called vlogs). Her and her band seemed so close, especially her guitar player Paul, I remember them lip syncing a lot on planes when they were bored. It was adorable lol

So Taylor's final dress rehearsal for this concert was done in Arizona and instead of having an empty stadium, she invited foster and adoptive families (about 1,000 of us) to come. She bought us pizza and stayed until 2am meeting anyone who wanted pictures with her. She addressed us personally before she started and after. She was phenomenal. One of the best nights of our lives! My kids still talk about it and they were pretty young.

Taylor has gone as far to pay her fans rent, tuition, hydro bills, etc. She has a team that sees things and she goes on and sees things. And secretly helps them. She doesn't boast it. We only know from fans posing about it. She is a true sweetheart. She 10000% cares about her fans so so so so much. She's truly thankful for them. It's a true love between Taylor and her fans

This documentary was the thing that made me a fan of her, before that I wanted nothing to do with her unfortunately I listened to the media and other celebrities and their opinion of her formed my opinion of her. I just randomly clicked the documentary as soon as it came out and watched every bit of it, listened to everything she said and it made me feel like shit honestly lol. The way she is with everyone she cares about and especially her fans is something I have never seen before and the fact that I formed such a hatred of a woman I had never got to know of and contributed to the hate online towards her sickens me and I wholeheartedly regret the way I acted towards her. I love her I think she’s the most genuine, loving person and definitely one of the realest celebrities out there and I wish her nothing but the best in life because she truly deserves it.

I love that!! Welcome 🙂! I've been trying to get everyone I know to watch it - along with the Rep tour on Netflix - so they can see just a tiny fraction of who she is as an artist and as a human. She laid herself bare in that documentary, to a world that had basically shunned her & counted her out (don't worry, she came back like a 90s trend. ;-) But that's what she does. Her music is her diary, and I feel honored that she shares so much with us.
She started out on MySpace way back in the day and has been connecting with her fans in a way NOBODY does...since day one. She's been her witty, goofy, adorable, brilliant, talented, dorky, kind and generous self with us for the last 15 years. She's the opposite of fake.
It's hard to list all the things she's done for her fans, charities, friends, etc. If you want to fall deeper in love, look up "TayLurking" and "Swiftmas", "Secret Sessions". You wouldn't be able to find a single celebrity, let alone musician, who has a relationship quite like the one she has with her fans. She hosts them at her personal residences, she bakes them cookies, takes pictures with everyone - her fans holding her Grammys (and cats). She usually knows everyone by name. Then she sits down with them and they all listen to the album together, before its release. They get to hear all of the secrets of the album that the rest of us don't get. Which is the #1 thing Swifties salivate for. She's never, ever, ever rude or dismissive of her fans, wherever she is - she'll always stop and take pics. And she does all this despite having a very justified fear of being attacked by a stalker. Like - she's said that she always travels with bandages/wound dressing, etc. & she rides around in armored cars. She's got some scary stalkers.
I could write a War & Peace length dissertation on all the things I love about Taylor Swift.
Some facts. Taylor’s band members - most have been around since the early days. Her background singers have been around for years. She tends to bring back dancers from previous tours and she treats everyone like family!!!

Getaway Car is lyrically the best song in terms of the tight, brilliant metaphor she uses throughout the entire song. I'm an English teacher and I've used these lyrics to teach extended metaphors to students! But I will always have huge love for Red, for the sheer genius of the lyrics and the heartbreak she explains so beautifully. The RED album just takes you on a story, from Red, to All to Well, to Begin Again....just stunning. And....what sort of genius links the lyrics from break-up song (Red) to her last song on her latest album, Daylight from Lover? Just utter genius.

I went to 1989 and dressed as a fox cause she has a song, I Know Places, and one line in the song goes “we are the foxes.” For rep Tour I wore all black cause she has a lyric in So It Goes… that says “dressed all in black now.”

You should also watch the 1989 world tour. There's a LOT of amazing stuff happening there as well. But the rep tour is just, the best. Also, one of my biggest respects I have for Taylor is that she doesn't sell VIP tickets where you have to pay to meet her. She stalks her fans, chooses a few, and then her mom and team walk around during the show and choose a few more swifties and they all get to go meet her and take photos with her and she gives them snacks and drinks and it's all for free. Oh my gosh. I forgot all too well was there! That really was a deep song. Taylor concerts people usually always dress up, they dress up as her lyrics, old looks of her, it's a Swiftie tradition. Bad Blood was remixed with Should've Said No, also a great older classic. Long Live was a song she wrote for her fans. So that's emotional. Also before getaway car, was a poem she wrote herself. Oooh and please, find a video of Taylor singing clean on the piano at the rep tour. That video is guaranteed to make you cry. It was a year after her trial. After every concert she does a free meet & greet with fans her mom/team picks from the crowd that night (which is why people love to dress up)! She also has several "secret sessions" before each album release where she invites 100+ fans to her houses to listen to the album before it comes out. She treats us so well which is why we stick by her for so long :)

Taylor is literally amazing with her fans! She gives them money when they’re struggling, sometimes pays there tuition, she gives them Christmas presents, etc. etc. She handpicks people online to meet her FOR FREE at her concerts before performing! And, during the concerts, her mom and other people go through the crowd and handpick people to meet her after the concert! When she meets fans she spends quality time with them and has conversations and takes pictures with them! She’s actually been known to stay at a place for hours just meeting fans and talking/signing things and taking pictures! She also does these things called Secret Sessions, where she handpicks A BUNCH of fans and invites them to her house! She shows them her new album before it’s even released, makes cookies for them, gives them drinks, food, and takes time to personally meet, talk to, and take pictures with each and every one of them! Her relationship with us is honestly amazing, and I don’t know of any other artist with the same relationship with their fans as Taylor has! She also, like you said, is so, so amazing and appreciative of every single person that helps her do what she does! She thanks the fans, she thanks every person involved in every little job needed to make her performances etc. possible. Even when the job is small, she makes sure to thank them! And at performances, she shouts out the back up singers/back up dancers and other people performing with her. She’s just an amazing human being and I just love her SO. FREAKING. MUCH.

This rep tour movie was filmed on her second night in Dallas, TX, and I was there at that concert. To sum up, it was the best night of my life and I will never ever forget it. I'm so glad I have the Netflix movie to see my concert again anytime I want!

Getaway Car in my opinion is the one of the best songs Taylor has ever written. It is my favorite off of the album. The night before i saw the Reputation Tour in Philadelphia, I played the song and sobbed because i was so excited to hear it live. It was an unforgettable experience. I've seen Taylor 3 times and she NEVER fails to put on and INCREDIBLE performance.

I think the lyrics are silly but it's still a bop. It really disappointed me when I first heard it just because I know what she's capable of so a song where she's like "omg look at ur face" felt kinda cringey. But it's grown on me a lot and I think it's unfair to be mad at her for writing fun songs that aren't as serious as her masterpieces.

I personally think her best song ever is All Too Well from RED. Vulnerable Taylor is the best Taylor. It's her first real adult heart break and you really feel like you're staying next to her the whole time. So good ❤️❤️
Reputation stadium tour was definitely amazing, but for me, the 1989 tour had the best performances. I love how each song sounded live because she added a ton of extra vocals and experimented with a lot of beats with some of her older songs. She basically made her country bops pop. It was overall, an iconic era.
