The groove at 1:30 takes your breath away.
Everytime I watch Cory play I wonder what it must be like to play with him. I would just sit there dumbfounded by the stuff he is laying down.
Check out Cory's playing with Snarky Puppy on Lingus , the keys player beside him is well into it, almost in tears.

I have heard a few versions of theis all time classic and one of my Favorites but never was it so rich and full of inspiration and surprises.
And it' s so great to see despite all of the uniqueness and greatness someone not taking himself so deadly serious!

Sorry to butt in but I got a notification from this thread and I cannot for the life of me figure out how a video of Cory Henry at BOTW ended up with two strangers having a tiff.
For what it's worth, and I hate to say it, but the only idiot here is you Nobby. A guy asks a polite question and is met with derision. I would never do that because I have a million other things I would rather be doing than patronising somebody on the internet for a completely innocent question. I'm sure you're a good guy for most of your life but don't squander your existence being hateful on CZcams comments. Yes, he could have visited the website to check himself, but is it really that big a deal to suggest an act for someone? Next time, if you dislike what someone has put, I suggest you walk away from your device, put the kettle on and direct some of that pent up anger on dealing with your own issues.
JayOJay, I can't be arsed looking at the website for you but I can attest that the venue is brilliant. I recently went to see Cory Henry there (his second visit) and the sound is always amazing and it's just a good all round place. Read the descriptions of artists on their site and hopefully you'll find one that suits your tastes.
