Each to their own of course in style choices. I personally don't quite grasp the idea of lowering a car like the WRX as its heritage is rally racing. It's no drag racer and not really a track monster either. Raising with rally tires and a longer travel suspension makes more sense in my mind. Still, admittedly, they do look good.
100% agree with you. Not my cat so not my problem, but I will never lower a rally-inspired car.
Slammed looks great. Going by the book isn't great.

What do you guys think are the specs on the silver VB at 3:45. I want my car to sit just like that with the stock rims.
an easy cheap drop to have that fitment are the Eibach Lowering Spring Pro kit. -2.1 front and -2.5 in the back from stock. I have the exact same fitment with those on mine on 18" Avid 06 wheels

The AWD can only do so much if the vehicle gets stuck because it bottomed out. I have seen the same thing happen to 4x4 trucks like the Jeep Gladiator because it's longer than the Wrangler.
NO LSD in the back, thats why. The old ones would pull out cause of the LSD, no matter how stuck or low it was🙄
How low is too low? IDK, ask Tex - the guy in the background wearing the boots and hat looks like he has the answers!

what are the wheel specs and tire set up on the red wrx that got stuck im maxed out on bc’s and i got a 9.5 35 offset with the stock tire size 245/40/18 thinking of going to a 215/35/18 i’m maxed out and im not even as low as he is
im running a 19x9.5 +38 on a 235/35 looks good

I am a little concerned that the majority of the WRXs were VB's and no old school GBs. I hope that theses current owners don't give up on their rides for the latest and greatest or because they can't be bothered to keep up with the required maintenance to keep them in service for years to come. I still have a 05 WRX in good shape running strong.
On another note I hope that owner of the red WRX that got stuck came to his senses raised it at least a little. There is nothing worse than seeing WRX getting stuck for dumb reasons. Like a time a saw a WRX with bad tires get stuck in an icey elevation on his way home.

My recommendation, don’t slammed a car. It literally has not much benefits for normal use and doesn’t look good at all. If you only use the car for track, then yeah it is a good option.

Lowered cars look good to a point but yeah that's just too low. I'll give him points for going static suspension and being that low, it must prove difficult oftentimes.

A lot of people did not like the bugeye GBs when they first came out like myself. I could not stand the round lights. But the blobeye and Hawkeye fixed that. But now I have seen some sharp looking bugeyes because of a cool new aftermarket headlight design with LEDs. So maybe the next refresh will improve the VB.
