I’m so late to this video, but that chord progression that starts at 0:31 and she repeats (4 times) till 1:00 is absolutely beautiful. I cannot get enough of that part.

i was 14 the first time i watched this. i developed such a deep love for piano because of these covers. i so badly wanted to learn this specific cover. listening to it over and over wasn’t enough. i had to be the music like she so clearly was. now at 22 i can play some, definitely nothing like this but every single time i touch a piano i think of this song, this cover. im so grateful that you learned piano and made the decision to share your talent with us

Yes. She gets the melody and those counter melodies. This is what makes Calvin Harris so great. Underneath the synths and beats there's real compositional genius.
