    As a black guy I have been to many countries across the globe. I live in the EU so Im pretty familiar with European nations. Germany is ok. France is ok but the place I loved the most in France was the French rivieran coastline, not Paris. Spain is beautiful but their strict level against blacks is a little more. Italy is worse. Portugal was super friendly. UK was excellent except that it gets boring after 3 years of living there. Love to visit the UK for party holidays though. Canada was too cold and depressing for me especially durung the winters.
    Didnt spend much time in Asian countries because I felt pretty much like a stranger there. However the best countries that were welcoming to a certain extent were Thailand and Japan.
    As for Africa, the countries I enjoyed to a certain extent were Angola, Namibia, and Kenya. Cape Town in South Africa was also great.
    The US was ok. Kinda expensive though.
    Now last but not the least. The location I enjoyed the most and felt really at home was the Caribbean and latin America. The 6 countries I felt the most happy and homely were the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil and my all time favorite, Panama. So of all the countries i ever visited, the country I felt in love the most was Panama. For me it was a dream country and a wonderful experience especially meeting and interacting with Afro Panamanians. So for me it remains the best country I have ever settled for a while as a black person. Hopefully, fingers crossed, I hope to retire there someday if all goes well.

      Thanks for sharing your experiences. What was your experience seeing single women over 40 in the places you've traveled? I see a lot of families moving to various countries and younger singles, but not many videos for single african american women. (Not really asking about the dating scene, just life in general).

    • @RobertsDigital
      @RobertsDigital Před 4 dny

      @@essenceofsoul27In terms of dating, for an African American woman over 40, Europe might not be an ideal location. The only two countries in Europe would be The UK and France. You definitely do not want to go to a country where blacks are treated really bad like in Italy for instance. I won't recommend Italy because I lived there. For me as a black guy I have dated a few times but I've often been very cautious in that area. I'd say the countries with the easiest women to get are Colombia, Brazil and The DR. Their women are extremely gorgeous but there is a problem. Easy women come with a lot of risks. The place I was able to find the perfect women in terms of character as well as beauty was in Africa. My girlfriend is half Ethiopian and half Eritrean. The advantage of most African women is that they're very family oriented and serious minded when it comes to relationships and dating.
      Now for an African American over 40 I believe Africa might be the right place in terms of the multiple options. I heard that Nigerian men are great lovers and can spoil their women really bad. Referring to established Nigerian men with good professions and businesses. But Nigeria may not be an ideal location as it isn't as properly developed as you may expect. For me personally I think the best place for you would be either, Angola, Namibia, Tanzania or Uganda. South Africa too. From what I do remember is that the over 40s and 50s black women in these countries were thriving in their relationships.

    I live in Italy, my mom and stepfather were Italian but my biological father was Brazilian, mixed of White, Black and Gipsy. I travelled with him to Brazil to meet my biological family and I was really surprised to see how lovely and kind they were! My father's family was multiracial, from the most pale white to the darkest skin shade and they all loved each other without any difference and they taught me to love and embrace all colors, ethnicities, cultures and nationalities. I miss so much that wonderful country, and when you mentioned it, I'm not ashamed to say that a lil tear came out from my eyes. Thank you so much for your kind words about Brazil! I really appreciated it. Moreover, my aunt by my mom's side lived in a small seaside town in the region of Liguria where there's an American military base, and many of them made friendship with the locals, so I can say that there are nice and kind Americans as well, at least those who are stationed here, some of them even made families with locals and chose to stay here to live. Brazile made the list of many others as one of most racist . How they treat the darker skinned residents and the trauma they feel. A few other CZcams black travelers also had heart breaking experiences. I'm so surprised about Brazile.

    Oh i got worried when i saw the Namibian flag in the thumbnail… Namibia is VERY xenophobic esp. when it comes to black ppl including black Americans of course… I lived there. Did some undergrad there, worked there, got married there, had my son there. Did grad school research there… lived there, not just visited and it’s not black foreigner friendly period when you’re there for just a quick non immersive visit, that’s fine… If you dont have a local spouse, partner etc. or work for the UN or some INGO or an embassy it gets dicey real quick.

    I'd want to see some sort of thing done as to which countries will treat PACIFIC ISLANDER females like normal, intelligent human beings if we're there for a Maths or Physics teaching job. So far I'm not able to "google" this satisfactorily. Maybe that means "no such place exists." I'd have to settle for "where will a Pacific Islander female not be treated like either 'African' or 'American' and once again, "no such place exists."

    Paris, France was a pitiful place for Me in 1998! I traveled with My five year old Daughter to Paris and wanting to eat in an outdoor restaurant We sat down to eat and were ignored for a long time but We watched Beautiful people so didn't pay much time waiting much attention until those next to us were served and We were not😢 The waiter finally came to hand us a menu and disappeared again for a while. When he approached Us he was arrogant and stated "If You do not order in French You will not eat here!" I said in German I don't speak French I can speak English and German as I am visiting here from Germany so I have Francs, Deutch Marks, and USD We are hungry. He took the menu and left Us in tears. No one said anything around Us to help or protest the ridiculous behavior. I used the table cloth to clean up and walked to yucky McDonald's😢 Paris was filthy with rats and dog feces every 200 steps. I have never returned.

      Right? Most African Americans are not interested in Africa, unfortunately. Germany really doesn't fool me. Due to their history, I don't really trust them.
      England has a lot of discrimination as well as France. I listen to people who actually live and work there, not people who are there on vacation.
      Brazil is actually one of the most racist countries in the world. The black people there are super oppressed.
