New Dacia Sandero exudes a strong personality and an impression of robustness. Its overall proportions have been redesigned to perpetuate the equation of its success: a contained exterior size and even greater roominess, for even greater versatility. The overall line is more fluid thanks to a more sloping windshield, a lower roofline and a radio antenna placed at the rear. The ground clearance is unchanged, but with its wider tracks and flush wheels, New Sandero feels lower, more planted on its sills.
The All-new Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Logan offer three back seats which can each
accommodate three adults, a 1/3-2/3 split-fold rear bench seat (depending on the versions) and a
family-sized boot. The boot of the Sandero has a 328-litre (310 L+18 L) capacity and features a flat
floor with adjustable height floor 2 positions depending on the versions.
With Media Control, smartphone can be placed on a clever removable smartphone support in front
of the driver to become a remote multimedia system via the new free Dacia Media Control app and
a Bluetooth or USB connection. The system provides easy access to the radio, music, calls, messages, sat nav apps and many other features such as Siri and Android voice recognition. Controls are within easy reach either on the steering wheel (for the radio) or behind it (sat nav) to ensure safer driving. Without a smartphone connected to the Media Control, radio and file playback via the USB port are available. The equipment includes two speakers, a Bluetooth and an USB connection and the 3.5-inch TFT digital display between the dials, where the radio settings are also displayed.
With Media Display, the console features a large 8-inch touch screen positioned at the top. The
passenger compartment is fitted with four speakers. The screen is slightly angled towards the driver for greater visibility and ergonomics. The design is sleek, and the intuitive, easy-to-use interface is compatible with Bluetooth and the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay systems for smartphones. A new “car” tab provides access to specific ADAS settings.
The interior takes a leap forward in every respect. The all-new dashboard becomes even more ergonomic and features new materials for a more modern and qualitative overall ambience that is also found on the doors and upholstery.
A more ergonomic driving position thanks to a new seat design and multiple seat and steering wheel adjustments for greater comfort. Dacia is also offering a new Media Control system that allows users to manage radio, telecommunications and navigation directly on their smartphone, which is mounted on a special bracket at the top of the dashboard. This system, fitted on the first trim levels, is completed by the Media Display and Media Nav, this time with a specific screen on the center console.
With its shoulders and marked wheel arches, the All-new Sandero exudes a strong personality and
sturdiness. Nevertheless, the overall lines are smoother, with a more sloping windscreen, a lower
roof (by 1 cm) and flowing roofline with the radio aerial at the end. Ground clearance is unchanged
(at 133 mm loaded), and yet the All-new Sandero feels lower and more grounded with wider tracks
and flush-mounted wheels.
The front and rear lights unveil Dacia’s new Y-shaped LED light signature, giving the All-new Sandero
a strong identity. A horizontal line joins the two lights both at the front and rear and extends into
their respective LED lines, giving the car a greater visual presence.
The LED headlights, offered as a standard automatic feature at all trim levels, increase night-time
visibility (by 37% in beam length and 9% in beam width).
The pronounced wheel arches reveal 15- or 16-inch flush-mounted wheels. From the second trim
level, they feature “Flexwheels” whose meticulously designed trims skilfully replicate those of “real”
alloy wheels, also available in 16 inches. The high ground clearance (133 mm) offers great freedom
of use.
The design of the door handles reveals a focus on quality and more ergonomic shape. Most versions now have electric boot release on the lower tailgate section, improving the looks and the
practicality. The new shape of the doors and wing mirrors improves the car’s aerodynamics while
reducing air noise for passengers. Inside, the dashboard features an insert wrapped in fabric while
the air vents boast an all-new shape. At Dacia, improving the quality you can feel means combining
pleasure with practicality.

I wouldn't describe my sandero 3 as smooth but it reliably gets the job done.

I am seriously tempted by this car, in the UK the top range comfort model comes with a reversing camera, keyless entry, 8 inch touchscreen and brand new for under £12,000 is just astonishing. The look of the car outside is good and the cabin looks like a nice place to be. Dacia appear to have done a great job with this car.

I'd go for the 90 BHP Essential model at £10,395 on the road which has things like DAB ,cruise control as well as a drivers armrest. Of course for just £8,995 on the road you can have the same trim but with the lower powered 65 bhp.

The radar works only for emergency braking, Dacias only come with basic cruise control which can only keep the speed, but it's a very good package for the money, all the basics you really need, not some ultra-advanced tech to drive your car all the time; it encourages you to be a more responsible driver and not to depend on all the automatic systems

Very nice review. In Romania, it's available the rear camera in a package - Parking Pack 2 with front and rear parking sensors, blind spot assist and rear view camera. The price for this package is 400 euro. Also, there is an option for Media Nav with Navigation and wireless connection for Android Auto and Apple Car Play, at the price of 100 eur.

So simple, love it ! Dacia are slipping up though and the updated 2024 Duster has bigger infotainment and worst of all Digital instrument cluster, I really hope analogue cluster can be available on other versions. I hate so many screens in cars especially big ones, they make the car look like shit and are dangerous as they encourage people to take their eyes off the road.
My current car is a VW id.3 electric and I hate it, the infotainment and software is irritating and a joke. so much controlled from the screen is very distracting to use while driving but it's also very unergonomic, I really hate it and lack of analogue instrument cluster, + the id3 has depreciated severely and I am having trouble trying to get any dealer to take the car as trade in, never again buy EV or any car so heavily dependent on the touch screen.
I wish the Sundero brough back proper physical buttons for the radio and station presets, again, it's just so much easier, the screen should really only be for sat nav in my opinion.
I just hope Dacia don't add more and more tech and especially a Digital instrument cluster because I might just buy a bi fuel sandero because I got a LPG station close by.

I have tried it 2 days ago. Nothing to complain about driving, but visibility is not great for a front window and parking sensors did not work well (front sensors works only on reverse gear and are not helpful in general). Price is great, but still looking for my future car.

Its just how it is sadly. Its the same here in BiH, where I live. Most people cant afford a brand new car, even the dacia is out of reach for the average salary.
The stepway makes more wind noise, bacause of the rails on the roof, bends more over in corners and is heavier.. so the basic model is faster. I did a drive on the highway and its possible to go 100 just above 2000 rpm. So...very quiet..
