This is incredible! That sword fight sequence between Jack Noir and Bro at 1:44 was SO cool!
It is really simmiliar to the original, in the aspect that you literaly cant tell what's going on

What I particularly love about it is that its the first and only time Dave and Bro, even if its davesprite, bond by being on the same side. The two fighting together against Jack, brothers in arms for the first and last time.
I love how in the fight at 1:44 lil cal is just posing and realistically having no positive contribution, yet bro still carefully moves him around while fighting, just going to show how fast/strong he really is
Bro COULD have ended it if Bec (good dog, best friend) wasnt such a powerhouse
@@GBSpiral They were evenly matched when it was just Bro and Jack fighting on the beat mesa, Davesprite and Bro would have absolutely killed Jack if Vriska didn't interfere
I know what you really meant, but I see "Flash Warning" at the beginning and my first thought was "Yes, who doesn't know Homestuck was animated in Flash?"

Man... I've watched the original of this so many times, but like.
The re-animation of it makes me realize just how much of an absolute clusterfuck jade's entry to the session was.
Like, at the start of the series, there's all these events that have already happened, and things that have gone wrong, and they just kinda gotta work around all of it without knowing -what- the problems really are
And then here, it's like.
All of it.
This was the problem.
Jade nearly missing her chance to enter by a few fractions of a second, and leaving a *first guardian* no choice but to prototype itself in order to keep the narrative from grinding to a halt right there
And as it goes on, the absolute *CONSEQUENCES* of prototyping just... ramp up, and ramp up.
Then finally we get to Karkat and it's like

That's the moment
That's the thing he saw, that made him firmly decide 'nope, not sleeping again' (well that and horrorterrors later as a result of a dead dreamself but that's an entire nother tangent)

Seeing that brief flash of the trolls' Jack before Bec Noir blew up Prospit's moon in front of Karkat really hit me in the feels.
Also _damn_ that fight between Davesprite and Bro vs Bird Noir was smooth, holy shit-
This one was gorgeous! The ones that stood out to me on first viewing were the last Jade cause she just looked really cool, the very soft karkat, the gnuenly terrifying 3d model of jack cause oh god that hand, the battle, the cutout version with the real Aradia and jack. All the rest were honestly super cool as well and I'm so glad you've all done made this gorgeous thing

IM NEW TO HOMESTUCK AND I JUST PASSED THIS PRETTY RECENTLY ITS LIKE MY FAV ANIMATION IN THE COMIC SO FAR BY A LONG SHOT IM SO HAPPY TO SEE A RENAIMATED PROJECT OF IT, AND SO BEAUTIFULLY MADE TOO !!!! THIS IS POSSIBLY ONE OF MY FAV REANIMATED PROJECTS, THE OUTCOME IS SO NICE LOOKING THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH AND THERES SOME SERIOUSLY UNDERRATED AND TALENTED ANIMATORS IN THIS, MY GOD THE ANIAMTION IN SO MUCH OF THIS IS SOOO SMOOTH AAAAGHHH

I still haven't read Homestuck, and I'm quite a bit past that animation. However, when I watch it, I still get goosebumps. Your reanimation is wonderful, it even recreates new feelings in me, new sensations from this action.

This is insanely underrated. Only 13k views and one of the best reanimation collabs I've ever seen.
I love how varied the entries in these homestuck reanimations are. Some are digital, traditional, stop motion, detailed, simple, some people took it very seriously, some people just had fun or did something funny, like every entry is a surprise
This is the greatest thing I've watched all week. Shoutouts to everyone who worked on this, but Mebi especially killed it what that fight scene.
Omfg I am in love with Andy Cupte's version of Vriska. That might be the cutest Vriska I've ever seen.
