Yes it can be connected to any ground for measurements. The positive probe to connected to motherboard 👍

PLEASE SIR .WHEN SLP_S3/S5/S3 MISS ON PARTICULAR SECTION (ForexampleRAM SECTION) ANDSLP_S3/S5/S4 ENABLE SIGNAL FROM PCH HAS DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH THAT PARTICULAR SECTION. DOES IT MEAN PCH IS FAULTY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.PLEASE NEED YOUR HELP
There could be various reasons not just one... For that u first need to understand the logic and Concept of the signal, clock , address and data communication between the SIO, PCH RAM and CPU loop.😊

How can I check the voltages if I don’t have the DSO?
Use multimeter if you don't have DSO
I have same board with graphics
But it is having short in 5v Output and also short 5v regulator ic.
I am anable to find short ......can u help me.
Check by injecting 5v at the coil output of the board then see which component is Heating. Or you can watch shorting videos on our channel.👍
I had injected 5 v then pu10 is heating too much. After that i had removed pu10 and thererafter still short ....
Check further shorting
