- We travelled to Suzuka and learned a lot along the way. We made this video guide to help others travelling to the Japanese Grand Prix. We explain everything from race tickets to bus and train tickets. It is not always the easiest for non-Japanese speakers to navigate their way but the pointers in this video should help. Includes how to get to one of the train stations near the circuit (Shiroko) and how to get from their to the circuit by bus over the course of the race weekend. We also share some sight-seeing tips if, like many do, you choose to stay in Nagoya.
We really enjoyed our Japanese Grand Prix experience and would recommend the race to F1 fans around the world. The fan experience their is quite unique with some very passionate fans mixed in with good behaviour making it one of the most pleasant races on the calendar for a paying F1 fan to attend. It is particularly good if you do not want to be subjected to some of the drunken fans that can make attending some of the European races such as Spa and Austria less attractive.

@@yesnomads you are most welcome👍
Hello, great video!! Where were your seats located?? Those shots at the end of the video of Toto/Nico are really good!! Cheers from Florida!!
The shots at the end were taken in the seating area opposite the team garages.
How early should you be if you want to be able to stand near the stage for the driver’s talk show?
Great video! Is there a guide/map that shows all the tv screens?
I've never seen that but perhaps they might have it on there.
Are there any restrictions for cameras?
To be honest with you, we are not 100% sure what they say legally for ticket holders. However, we saw lots of people walk around with these huge cameras and lenses. We mean, proper professional equipment and they were not accredited F1 photographers. Photography is a massive thing for them.
BTW - Apparently, they also sell the special photographers pass ticket to foreigners now - we saw that recently somewhere. When we were there, we could not get this special ticket. It allows the ticket holders to go to really good areas for photos.
@@yesnomads Were you able to see photographers with huge cameras and lenses seated in the grandstand?
On free (seating) Friday - we saw people with big cameras all over the place. We don't remember seeing them on Sat and on race day in the grandstands. So we cannot tell you that for sure.
'The most expensive grand prix to travel to and attend'? Errr... Well that depends where you live doesn't it love.
That is not what I said, darling!
