Hi Tobie! I have a question. I composed and recorded a trio sonata for musette de cour and vielle à roue, but I haven't got access to any of those instruments, so I recorded them on my violin instead. But now I'm looking for a vielle à roue to be able to finally record that part properly and maybe do some other things as well. I'm wondering, is there an instrument for less than 2000 euros that can play well and sound well for this particular type of music? I don't want the instrument to sound too rustic, like a lot of the cheaper instruments do, but it doesn't have to be perfect either. I did find a hurdy gurdy model named "Aplo" that sounds incredibly smooth and non-rustic for the price, but it is tuned way differently from what I need for this piece, and seems to be a different model from what most people use for french baroque music. Could it still work well if retuned? This is the piece: soundcloud.com/michaelcaplin/trio-sonata-for-two-violins-continuo-i
