  • This is police surveillance video from Christopher Byers' funeral in West Memphis on May 12th, 1993 at 1pm. The investigator recording the video did a poor job so the entire video had to be digitally modified to remove the camera shake as best as possible. Even then the video quality is still relatively poor, but that's what we have to work with. If you find anything interesting in the video, please share it in the comments.

Also I wanted to say knowing what VHS recordings on camcorders were like back then I think you did an amazing job of remastering it

Terry always looks emotionless. The only time he shows emotion is when he laughs at inappropriate things. And that song he sings with his guitar is just awful. Anyway, I really hope they can find the real person who’s responsible. Poor little things. May they RIP 🙏❤️

I apologize I don't know who you are Daphne Blake. But I know you have something to do with the Byers family. I left a comment under another video that you made on this channel by letting you know that my sister married Ryan Clark, they have been married for at least 15 years. But I don't talk to my family as much as I used to. I do know that they have lived in frayser for a while with their three children. My sister is very kind she doesn't drink, she doesn't smoke she doesn't do drugs! When they first met Ryan did not speak much about his brother's murder or his mothers death. I'm sure he spoke to my sister about it. Always had the feeling that he didn't like his stepfather Mark Byers. I'm not sure why I had that feeling. I do know that Mark Byers was not at their wedding nor did any of us meet him. Looking back on it now, We were told by my sister to never speak to Ryan about his mother or brother. Only if he brought it up. Ryan loved his mother and his brother! I hate to say this but he and Mark probably didn't get along. I never thought about these questions until now, after seeing this footage of the funeral. I couldn't imagine losing my brother and then my mother. I have also recently noticed that Ryan started to be more vocal about about his brother's death. I seen an interview (but his identity was blacked out) he was actually talking about the case! Which blew me away!
But I do have to say.. I have so much respect and gratitude for Mark Byers, for calling out Terry Hobbs every time he got a chance! Admitting he was wrong about WM3! I just recently started following this case again. So seeing all this new information and interviews with, esp Mark Byers making sure TH knew.. as long as he was alive he was going to make sure, he lived in fear of being exposed!
We all just have to pray that if ("if") Terry is indeed.. the person that the DNA points back to him and that the state of Arkansas, gives the green light on retesting the DNA with new technology!
By the way it just dawned on me that the place for Christopher's funeral was held was 5 minutes down the road from where I used to live! I didn't even realize it until the end of the video! I didn't live close to the cemetery until 97. Liveed there for years before before I knew that Christopher's funeral was at Forest Hill funeral Home! Also Melissa his mother is buried not far from him. I wonder where Mark Byers is buried?.. I'll have to look that up.

I saw this in my notifications and I'm like 'who the hell is even touching this case' but then I saw it was you and I was like my bad my bad.
You know it's kinda eerie but comforting at the same time to see John Mark Byers... With Melissa... at Christopher's funeral. Just kind of knowing what we know now and being able to look back and reflect on that. It summons many emotions. Especially knowing John Mark Byers thoroughly believed he would be reunited with his son... and then his wife... in heaven.
I don't know what the afterlife holds, if anything. but I'd like to think we go where we want to be and I hope he is where he wants to be, reunited with his family.
Our world didn't deserve them and yet we were still fortunate enough to experience them. 🙏🙏🙏

Doing what we can to keep things moving and working to answer the questions that the Byers family wanted answered before Mark passed away (we still work with the remaining Byers family, including Chris' uncle). We received several leads from the video we posted on Steve Branch's funeral that turned out to be VERY helpful that led to some new interviews and we're hoping for some more success by posting this. We're also watching the recent evidence issue closely.

Its only my opinion but as someone who has studied psychology and social interaction for around 6 years i think terry comes off as the biggest suspect, there are so many things that don't add up with him, im glad there are still folks hunting the truth i learned about this back in 09... i just hope the real criminal gets caught.
