Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter Air Rifle - A long awaitied arrival to my air gun cupboard the Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter. I first saw this air rifle late 2013, and many have seen it since. With a name like "Ultimate Sporter" it has a lot to live up to, and in this unboxing video I get the first glimpse of the rifle.

This video contains a review of a pellet / BB rifle. Its powered entirely by spring actioned compressed air and uses no gunpowder and must not be confused with any form of tactical firearm. My Targets are paper and tins.

Looks good Giles !! I've had an .22 s410 carbine walnut for a number of years and can't fault it. Still shoots like new.

would be nice if you could do more testing on the accuracy of this rifle and record the grouping im millimeters at both 25 meters and at 50 yards

I love the look of this gun, I'm trying to decide between a BSA R10TH and an AA S510 ultimate sporter, I'm currently thinking S510, I only plan on target shooting.
I've had an s310 and I'm currently using an tx200.both very reliable and quality rifles. Never had a problem with either of them despite the age of the s310.both are very accurate and a pleasure to shoot.never owned a bsa pcp but but have heard many great things. Personally Id get the air arms due to brand loyalty and I really like the air arms magazines as they are very easy to load.very expensive though but well worth it

You never showed the filling adapter does it come with everything to fill or do you need another bit to get on the bottle.

Giles, if you are going to do an un-boxing, then get a camera that has a zoom lens on it. Really hard to see the rifle and it's features when it is 6 feet away!

What's the difference between the s510 CARBINE Ultimate Sporter and s510 EXTRA FAC Ultimate Sporter?
it look`s good but how much does that stock weigh? is it much heavier than a standard stock? and can you see what group`s it can shoot at 60 yds for us field target boy`s please? thanks Giles

You can easily find smal defects on a airarms rifle because we al have so high expectations for them and wants everything 100 percent perfect
Hey Giles great looking gun btw.... I was wondering if you could help me.. i am days away from receiving my FAC licence.. and looking at purchasing a 40ft/lbs or higher FAC air rifle.. looking towards the wolverine HP or Huntsman Regal XL .. I mostly shoot Rabbits, i would like something with the flattest trajectory out to at least 80 - 100yds.. have you any ideas on what would be best to buy... Fortunately i am not restricted to cost..

Nice rifle and great Channel. Ultimate Sporter doesn't really do it for me though. Sorry to be off-topic. Recently dusted off my 25 year old BSA Superstar and have the bug again. The last Air Gunner magazine I have is from 1989! Been doing my research on a new purchase (seems to be less choice these days). Probably go .77 - my shooting is mainly target:
1) HW100 (butt ugly)
2) S510 (bit dinky / rubbish safety)
3) Huntsman Regal
4) Wolverine B or C
Really tempted by the Wolverine. Are you likely to do a review of the C anytime soon? Will people just point and laugh at the plastic appendage? Which would you have if you could have just one?
So many questions... ;)

Timmy, thats a tricky one. It is a great rifle, no doubt. You need to hold both and see which you prefer, which fits you best. Both will do everything you need. Each offers to do things in a slightly different way. Take your time and enjoy the buying process. Both are great guns. Giles
I have been using a hw100kt for about 2 months now, and I have tried the Ultimate sporter alot to. Yesterday I made my decision and bought the Ultimate Sporter with a MTC Genesis scope. I love it to bits

Utter nonsense you have received a bad rifle the stock on mine is pristine its Minelli. I would take it straight back to the shop as that is quite bad knicks everywhere
