I use to go to Blackpool when I was younger. There was much more life about it then. It really is such a shame those beautiful buildings are just left to rot and your right, it’s not just the buildings that are being forgotten about but the people also. It’s such a shame. ❤ x

Not a single for-sale board, presumably there's no market for them. I wonder what happened to all the people whose life savings were tied up in the buildings they had to abandon.
3 stops £ 7 on a tram for 2 pensioners is a bit over the top, but they don't mention the fact if you pay £8 that covers you for all day bus pass and tram, there is also a charge for a dog regardless of size,
cant understand how people can pay £100 per night per couple in a caravan at marton mere with an extra £50 each for the entertainment, when you can get 100 per night for 2 inc breakfast at the resort, victorian black pool 1902 is on you tube the dress code is mint, Blackpool is class my first visit was 1970 for 1 day just to ride the grand national big dipper, we hitch there and hitch back we only had about 30 bob between the 3 of us, thats £1.50 or 3nr 10 shilling notes, a was there last year at wither spoons the chicken wings were class with the blue cheese dip
Hi Kopnyd1 - I loved reading your comment :) Lots of different factors at play I would say, staying in a holiday park and caravan are two very different holidays. But you are right, clothes in the Victorian era were smart! P.s. we have a Blackpool B&B review up today for balance.

The loeds hotel has been closed for atleast thirteen years does anyone now anything avout the history if the building always thought it was a nice looking building and had alot if potential but i donr think anything has been done to it for years not even a for sale Signe ??????!

sorry its not 8 its 6.60 day ticket single for 3 stops is 3.50, so the 6.60 can use all day tram or bus, witherspoons opposite the swimming pool is the best option for breakfast and you can have as many tea coffee refills as you want for to think 3.50 for a coffer at the swimming pool
You said. Don't slag Blackpool off. What I Seen on the video. It Don't look appetising. Blackpool went years ago. There Is no entertainment. No markets. no shops Definitely not for families. Anymore.
Hi thank you for your comment, this video shows backstreet parts of Blackpool that have been left to rot, where as the prom flourishes. There’s so much to do in Blackpool, Madame Tussaud’s, pleasure beach, 3 packed piers - Blackpools still very family friendly.

We visited from australia last year its a dump there car speed cameras evey 2 miles the drugdealers runing the back streets parking people every were giving out tickets. come to the gold coast QLD SEE HOW TO RUN A HOLIDAY DESTINATION
Comparing Blackpool to a tourist resort in Australlia is the most insane thing I've seen today.
It's a town famous for it's poverty and "has been" status sadly, of course the gold coast would be better
most of my relatives went there on the £10 family deal back in the 60s on a slow boat to china,

Your comments are completely negative. At the moment there is a 300 million centre renewal programme. Also a very good revamped shopping centre. Not to mention the tramway extension to Talbot Square with it's just. opened Holiday Inn 140 rooms. Another large Hotel is planned as an extension to the Winter Gardens. Also a 400 bed super hotel is planned on the former St Chad's site Blackpool is still the most visited seaside resort in the UK. I have advised Blackpool Council about your very negative and inaccurate imput on you tube
David - We both firmly agree Blackpool is in need of regeneration then? Unfortunately, there is a lot of empty properties in Blackpool. Our video is factual on the day of recording and are merely observations of the current state of Blackpools back streets with no agenda. Blackpool is one of our favourite seaside resorts. We can't comment on the inner workings of Blackpool Council, however it's reassuring to hear action is being taken.

whats brexit got to do with it , explain, blackpool was like that before brexit, to many b and b people flying off cheap deals, and its got nothing to do with poverty, theres plenty of cash around these days try living in the 50s 60s spoilt rotten to day,
