The exp tracks from when you start using the gun, for new players they'll have a couple of these if they have a favourite weapon
Also yes double exp works on these if you have excess tokens

The amount of camos in MW3 is getting a little crazy
I mean they did add prestige camos for ww2 but oddly made them paid skins in mw3 as legacy camos
Anyway I still miss the regular prestige as rank meant more and having these camos meant you were absolutely no lifing
Its nice to have I hope the next cod has these on launch though so more people can have these at the time their season 3 would launch
I want to put the one trick camo on MW2 guns but it must be broken because the patch notes say you can grind for it on MW2 guns

I guess you simply refuse to set foot in MP except to show off camos but rest assured - 1.5 hours in the small map playlist with 2X WXP tokens also gets you (at least) 75k weapon xp. Except you don't need a full coordinated team, or worry about easter eggs and soft caps. Don't even your brain honestly - just spam decoys with the Modular Assault Rig vest on and shoot stuff. Of note you DON'T have to be any good at "shooting stuff", all this works just fine for below average players.
if you havent already started the video for the models in zombies, dont put slugs on them. at time of writing they currently arent treated as a shotgun so when they get packed they dont gain extra slugs per shot like the haymaker or lockwood do, and i highly recommend mags of holding for them, reloading them only puts 2 shells in at a time out of their max of 6 or 12

I've only gotten it on one gun, and it's one of my most-used ARs, the MCW lol. I put together a pretty strong class with the MCW aftermarket part and I just kept using it over and over in every game, got it in maybe like 15-20 total mp matches, maybe a little more than that
Just unlocked it for the new AR. Really pretty.
These are such a cool camo, and overall idea. Thankfully they aren't time locked, so players aren't pressured to get these done asap for whatever weapons they want. And though currently unavailable on the mw2 guns, it's nice to hear they'll hopefully become available on those too, can certainly pick out a few of them I really like.
I did it for the MCW. I popped a double weapon xp and played several games of Loaded Resurgence. While it depends on skill (I’m not the nicest, but I’m not a bot either) it took a few hours to unlock it.
I’m open to faster strats because the camo is gorgeous asf
doing all the steps above, but go to plunder instead and loot crates, my go-to strategy to level up new guns always worked the fastest for me
@LegoUnlocked how do you make your ghouli camo look like that, mine is always bright ash no matter what i do
You can not only double the xp with the weapon token, you increase the soft cap on the xp by several levels. Then going to a follow up game resets that soft cap again. I leveled the new ar in 1 game by grinding regular game then camping the extraction point on dr jansens exfil. The cannons count toward your equipped weapon also. Climb the ladder to the building next to the helipad and zombie only have the 1 path up to you, making an easy funnel

I wish this would back date so to say. I’ve managed to do the interstellar, borealis & bioluminescent grind along with the ultra mastery for all MW3 guns. But now I have no XP on any MW3 guns, surely all that would have completed “one trick” for all. 🤔

After completing the mastery for both MW2 and MW3 guns, there won't be too many I do this for. But if you casually do this for a couple guns while playing normally, at least its something extra for just playing. Kinda stinks it's only for the MW3 guns though. Thanks Lego!
If you do contracts on resurgence then spam buy uavs or airstirkes on fire sale its the fastest method you get xp for buying uavs and using them but domt spam use
I spent a whole 50 minutes in a outlast last night and it only gave me 20,000 xp. But a game in tier 3 doing constant contracts and the new dark aether gave me about 50,000 xp. All I know is I’m mad that I just got borialis on all the guns. I’ve used up all my double xp tokens. Like literally last Friday I finished the grind.

If you put a gun screen on your gun in zombies you can track you kills
Did you try completeing the contracts in zombies games and opening stuff instead of just zombie kills.? The xp could work differently for this xp challenge.
I would recomend playing hardcore small map moshpit with double xp its so easy to get kills you will die alot but you do get alot of kills to and double xp makes it so much better

1:15 you would go to tier 2 to farm an Outlast contract. For the sheer purpose of XP per minute, zombies spawn faster in Tier 2.

Yesterday me and my friend were grinding, all I did was just get kills and finish challenges and I got a lot of weapon xp and I think camo xp counts towards it also

There needs to be either lowered xp requirements depending on the mastery camos you've already earned

A gain to the xp you earn based on mastery camos and mastery challenges already completed
I already have the charms on 90% of the weapons, and the idea of a 3hrs-ish grind on every single weapon (EVERY SEASON) going forward is enough to just not even care anymore, honestly.

When your are grinding like this you need to stay till the final Xville. There are massive amounts of zombies in the last 3 mins
That might be one of the best gold camos they've made. Probably only grinding for a few guns tho.
The mw2 weapons do show this camo for me even tho they said in patch notes they are available for them ?
easily one of the top 5 camos in MW3, and you don't have to pay for it like the ranked ones

With double xp being used I got 30k xp sitting in an outlast from start to finish

150k XP is like 10 multiplayer matches with 2x XP, it’s not that difficult lol, just do it for the 2 or 3 weapons you use and leave the rest. That is unless you need to do it on every single mw3 gun to unlock the second, third and fourth prestige camo like with the mastery camos
Sucks you can't save any of these weapons with the One Trick camo on it. You have to put the camo on each time, can't save it on them as blueprints. Which is crazy

I got the Striker and BAL27 finished in a single day. About 5 hours of playing for a bit more than 300k XP. I used 2XP tokens but I didnt pay attention to whether or not they were actually working.

These new season camos really kinda don t make much sense after 1 reaches mastery if the weapon. I guess it gives us something to do further but mastery of the weapon is supposed to be it right?
I unlocked this just by playing regularly unlocking and getting Borealis for my Bal27 lol now my Bal and my BP50 &’ my Horus have this camo it’s fun but I prefer Borealis

Bro Easy method go and play a full match of zombies pop a 45 min double weapon XP token farm outlast or tier 2 exfill for 4-8 manglers and 1 disciple every time you called in the exfill special zombies gives plus 50 XP basically 100 if its doubled so you need to do tier 2 outlast 54% glitch or farm tier 2 exfill play the game until final exfill and once the 70 second timer hits do a sigil run regular complete all contracts and farm zombies for the remainder of the time should get you to like 100k XP. I did this but didn't do the sigil run and had a 50k XP but only thing is I forgot to add double XP try this and let me know how much you get with the double XP. scorcher is required because you need to fly to the ether before the 70 seconds runs out. Last exfill spawns infinite zombies and manglers until chopper flies away so this should be a fast method but takes like 1:30 minutes total for like 80-100k depending how you farm and minus the XP cap but this should work. I will try this with the double XP and let you know in an updated comment.

They changed the PaP camo tracking! Since the update, every gun I’ve PaP’d has been tracking for all camo grandmastery and not just golden enigma/ivory like before

Yeah, 150k XP is not bad. You're basically leveling up the gun 75 times. This might push more people to play zombies, if they don't wanna go the Warzone route. Around 1500 mp kills.
such a kick in the nuts for people with mastery completed it looks better kinda but after you player and did interstellar/borealis to go back for every one as completionist to do it again sucks balls
