Strawberry Swing struck something deep within me in high school and it has stayed with me for many years. Even got a tattoo inspired by it, there is something so incredibly nostalgic and heart wrenching about it. One of my favorite songs of all time, nothing will ever be as bittersweet to me

It's not a cover, it has different lyrics and variations over original melody, in many parts it's different. It's just sampled. The same way "American Wedding" uses "Hotel California" track

Strawberry Swing has always stuck with me. There’s a story that floated around for a while about a guy who was listening to it and that alarm at the end snapped him back into reality and saved his life. He was having a heart attack. Really cool story. Think it’s still on Reddit.

Since you're discovering all Frank's discography, and clearly love his music as much as I do, I wanted to present some of his "hidden gems".
I really recommend you listening to "Wiseman" by Frank. I believe he wrote it as a soundtrack for the Tarantino movie "Django", but it wasn't used. I'd also recommend two tracks from some of his mixtapes from before Nostalgia, Ultra. "Acura Integurl" and "Pyrite". Then some of his features are also mentionable, "White" from Odd future's "The OF tape vol. 2", "She" by Tyler, the Creator, "Wildfire" by John Mayer and "Sunday" by Earl Sweatshirt. Hope you have time to check them out.

This came out right before a summer holiday for me. The combination of these tracks and sunrises / sunsets is undeniable. Also, weirdly I’d never really listened to Hotel California before this, so for me this almost seems like the official version. Fantastic reaction as always.

This is one of my favourite projects of all time, takes me right back to the summer of 2012. I’ve got a custom poster of the album art in my house and I’ve built an E30 BMW just like the one on the cover. I even went as far as to get the exact paint colour code when I did the restoration!
This mixtape/album introduced me to Frank, and god, I wish it was on spotify. Nature feels is *that* song by the way, but the whole album is a gem.

The original Strawberry Swing is indeed by Coldplay. Frank kept the instrumental and the outro for his cover. The original is a very happy song, Frank made it into an apocalyptic sad story 😄
