I find that applying the chrome on a no-wipe product definitely helps get that super reflective mirror effect, then I seal it twice either with a regular top coat or a with no-wipe top coat

What's the brand of your gel polishes??

I used iGel Beauty in this video. I will highly suggest Medusa Nails now. The reason is because it's a hard gel in a bottle and I get virtually no chipping on myself or any clients. Oh and you have to check their website for shipping. I know because of the 🐛, some countries are no longer being shipped to because they don't have the man power to get the packages out. This means things are getting lost, stolen, or going bad in 120° warehouses and customers asking for a reship.

No. I paint the top coat on. Cure.Then rub in the chrome. Hope that helps.
I don’t understand how filing the sides of nails after you’ve already used the chrome powder?? If anything I’d think that would make it last for less time.??
@@underrated5210 the best way to explain it is that you break the seal on both sides that are smooth. By roughing them up, then applying the top coat and protein bond, you give the edges something to hold on to. Helps it stay on
Great vid! To confirm is the order:
1. Base-> Colour Gel-> Chrome-> 2 x Top Coat
Or
2. Base-> Colour Gel-> Top Coat-> Chrome-> 2x Top Coat
It's number 2. Make sure to remember to lightly file the underside of the nail before your your second layer of top coat. Wipe the dust away then top coat
My chrome is fading after 3 days how annoying. Starting to show the black I’m pissed.
What did you top coat it with? Did you file the sides and then re-top coat? Let me know so I can try to help
Mine is doing that too, I used one layer of top coat, not two
