    I have 100 percent confidence in my terra firma rod. I will literally pull as hard as i can on it to beach big fish. Its like a fast action parabolic blank, sometimes if my top shot is short I can feel the current. It will bend all the way to the ferrule on big fish its awesome. I cant say a bad thing about it. It is fun for smaller fish and has the power for bigger fish. I got 6 fish over 10 on it this year with one being a 14ft hammer probably like 40 fish so far from 3ft to 14ft. The black on black with the 80 looks good. its what I have. I was skeptical because I was use to east coast broom sticks but this new nano blank and Cali/Terrafirma style rod is an absolute winner

      I've put on 85lbs of drag on the same rod and man that thing bent like crazy and was nervous since I'm so used to stiff rods but that thing held up perfectly

    I have the same tft rod I love it at night time with the reflective tape on the guides. Helps a lot when a fish starts swimming in and you see your rod straight up.

    Hey Hey
    These rods look, and I’m sue feel amazing. Remember some of the shark rods we used to fish with the first time we went were really stiff, and you horsed the sharks a lot. Really like the lighter looking rod, but it seems to do the job. Looking to see them in action.
    Blessing from the flatlands.

    Very nice! Thinner rods(thick walled but small diameter blank) are actually stronger and more durable than a comparable thicker blank and of course they're lighter and feel more refined.
    Personally prefer a more parabolic action though but looks pretty nice, especially the second one

    Hey, nice video.
    The jaws rod looks amazing. What is the length of the rod blank and what line is it rated for?

    • @GulfCoastNation
      @GulfCoastNation  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey! Thanks so much, that jaws build from terrafirmatackle.com is the ultimate on first impressions. Not sure on the line rating, but it is 8ft overall. Just got a second in on the lighter scale for our ex50 at 7ft 6 and have one more coming in for our exw 50 at 7ft. To be used on the beach and offshore for tuna!
