Nice vid man really getting into this game. Do you find that there’s a difference and/or lag in shot timing when playing online vs offline? I always remember 2k and Fifa just always felt less crisp when switching to online modes and I feel like this game really requires that precision with timing 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks! Great question. There’s no noticeable difference in shot timing between offline and online. In online games, the actual gameplay may lag a little making it seem like it’ll impact timing, but it hasn’t really done that yet (at least for me). NBA 2k is horrible with timing online. This games timing is not anywhere as bad as that.
Im mad with the way they made this game poor roster graphics etc but gameplay seams fine . im thinking buy ps5 with this game but im a little undecided..you play on next gen ?
for timing your hits.. are you pressing your hit button after the ball hits the yellow x? This is my first topspin game and i'm getting f***ed by the timing of my hits haha
Haha, no worries! Most of the time I try to hit power shots. For that, I usually start holding the button when my opponent hits the ball. Then let go when the line is in the green. By the sound of what you’re saying, it sounds like you’re trying to do control shots (that’s when you press the button in the green instead of letting go of the button when it is in the green). Control shots are bit harder imo. I can’t get the timing of that consistently either. Hope this helps!
