Here is my simple and effective guide to catching Squid using my favourite Squid jigging lures and the techniques I use to catch and tempt Squid.
Ive always loved Squid fishing season and I'm going to be honest I have a set of favourite lures I use year in year out. Wether its a colour or a size of a lure, I stick to the lures that work for me!
When it come to colours, I favour Reds, Oranges and yellows. But also like to fish white coloured lures. Obviously other lures work but I tend to stick to my guns.

A lot of good information here. I've never finished for squid. I bet it's a lot of fun on light set up. Fresh squid is delicious.

Stretches from the days I lived in Melbourne and fished Albert park lake for yellow belly perch. If the perch weren’t taking lures moving we would around the edges and TBAG and it worked 🦑😂

Made some of your squid rigs but the pull of bass is too strong at the moment . Fresh squid is such good food. hugely different style of fishing, slow n chill. Tea bagging is a good description, like it. Nice 5 a side plus a substitute selection too😂 Some are about then is good to see. Good video with underwater views of rigs and squid attached to lure. Nice one, really enjoy watching.

The part about picturing the jig at the bottom and moving up and down really helps.
That’s why I made it. Jig low and slow!

In Oz we squid fish on 1st light
When they are about here you can catch them 24/7 but night we favour for the bigger ones

Move your camera away from other electrical devices when recording looks like you had the camera way too close to the screen causing the videos to flash and ruined the video completely .

Did you say Yo Zuri Range? Rage? I don`t see anything close to what you said on Yo-Zuri`s site. Also,did you say Berkley ? And also,the Japanese Company you mis-pronounced is Yamashita.
One is a Yo Zuri pata pata Q, and the other is a Yo zuri auri Q RS. Hope this helps
