Just to let you guys know, Guy didn't have to open the 8th Gate. They said that he'd likely need less to defeat All Might, they just wanted for Guy to go all out, even if it wasn't necessary
@Styxx19 well, Stars and Stripes is incredibly powerful. Shigaraki won because of Identity Crisis preventing him from dying. And Izuku could probably win (assuming they round him up to Prime All Might but also aff his new quirks. Like Fa Jin might be able to close the gap in physical power
This is one of my all time favorite Death Battles because it's one of the only times two fighters went head to head out of shear respect for one another and not some stupid/convoluted reason to make two characters fight like a lot of other Battles. Also, this Battle has to have some of my favorite music out of any other fight they have done. And side note, the Death Battle cast said at a panel that Might Guy could have beaten All Might without opening all 8 Gates but they went ahead and did it for the entertainment value of the video.

Actually he is called the tailess tailed beast because he is suppose to be comparable in power to a tailed beast. Which is funny because in the movies which are not Canon there is a 0 tails which is a serpent or snake it's been awhile since I've seen it and in his shark form he does have a tail so he isn't exactly tail less either.
Only problem with this DB is, emphasis on Might guy training all his life. Well so did All Might. There is a whole decades of his super hero stuff that's been missing but well made clear and that he trained as teen if not child. Anyway, conclusion was justified.
Compare Numbers, All Might in his prime is way above Island Level to possibly Country level. Might Guy in 7th Gate is barely Island level. I have no clue why Death Battle Cast claimed All Might loses to 7th Gate Guy, They clearly show his feats are way above. It’s just the Eight Gate that destroys All Might

Man i said it on the original deathbattle, but natutos blows a hole in the moon is a measure of capacity not output. Yet they treated it as output. He cant put that energy behind each punch. This would be ok to use if we saw it used as a atack, but it wasnt, it was discharge he had no control over. None of his atacks have that kind of output, but in using this feat they basically said madara could withstand this with little to no damage and guy can deal more damage because he can hurt madara, but naruto cant actually never hit him that hard, plus the whole guy doing that to madara, was him trapped in a ilusion. In other words guy only thought he was winning and was in fact hurting nuthing.

To be fair, a few misconceptions with Guys strength. One, when he went against Madara he wasn't just going all out on his own. In fact, if it wasn't for the intervention of both Kakashi and Edo Minato, Guy would've died multiple times. He only lasted as long as he did against one Rinnegan Madera because he was curious to see the full power of the eight gates. Keep in mind, this was also Madara pre-God tree buff plus pre dual Rinnegan. Post SO6P buff, toad sage Naruto was able to make a lava rasenshurikan move capable of cutting Madara in half and legitimately panicking him. That was before activating his KCM again and using his truth seeking orbs. Furthermore, the Naruto that went against Madara had the power of only one half of the nine tails. In The Last, Naruto has the full Nine Tails and has refined his abilities further. So to scale Night Guy to that Naruto is a massive misconception. I think I had something else to say, but... I forgot lol.

@@patrickadetola4153 That depends. Full Counter is a pretty broken ability, and if Astas abilities fall under Meliodas' full counter range, even if Asta has superior speed and strength at some point (Which I've heard end of series Meliodas is pretty busted) that could all be undone.

I mean the way they explained it was really bad, but the final point is still there, DC characters are busted, i really wanted Ben to win but Hal is just way superior the problem with a lot of these arguments is that they just say how Ben is way stronger than DB portrayed him to be but they forget to remember that the same is true to hal who has basically decades worth of absurd feats.

The problem is that they severely misrepresented both parties just to cheese an undeserved victory for Hal. I know Hal is powerful and I would LOVE to see a real battle where the two can fight to their true potentials. But mish-mashing a bunch of Hals together is not the right way to go on that, and nerfing Ben as hard as they did isn't either. Also, it's kinda hard to believe the Omnitrix's failsafe wouldn't respond to Hal's scissors when it responded to a possession attempt by Ghostfreak (a move that, by Ghostfreak's own admittance, wouldn't kill Ben or even harm his physical body)

They had a hour long Q&A explaining the whole thing and basically everything Ben could do, Hal could do but better. I wanted Ben to win as well but he was just outmatched in every way shape and form. Hal has destroyed much more powerful and imposed gods compared to Ben’s. And Them comparing pre crisis and post crisis Hal makes sense, Green Lanterns are the same level of power pre crisis compared to post crisis. Also Ben only has one continuity. Hal has multiple that are easily scalable. Instead of listening to Kuro and taking his views as fact, I suggest finding this stuff out oneself
