I play occasionally a couple times a week. Maybe 4-6 hrs a week +\- since about season 3 or 4. I’ve never gotten shards. I never spend anything and never will. But I’ve never gotten any for free.

It took me 5 years and over 2000hrs in the game to get my first heirloom.

Funnily enough I've had the shards for about 2 months and I just don't care. I would've been super excited a couple years ago, now I don't even want to actually spend them on one 😂

If the kobal didn't require heirloom shards it would be far cooler but it does now so it does cost like 500 bucks then more on top of that if you want actual design
