There is nothing wrong with Islam besides the fact hat the vast majority of current Muslims support totalitarian theocracy, even the terror threat is gone now. As they go through their equivalent of the Jewish enlightenment they will become similar to the Conservative Jewish population, seeing sharia as a moral code, one that guides the values instead of politicized sharia that would legislate every dictate of their religion, and will probably even lead to the re-rise of the Muslim resurgence in scientific output.
Maybe stop giving your freedoms away for others to care for out of their own accord. Maybe the people should put themselves in charge of their rights and just have the government be the spokesperson for their rights through mandated protocols. And if the government goes against it, they are required to be in jail between 20 to 80 years.
