Believe me, before I discovered Dan last year, I didn't know any band from this video.
Over the many months that I have been following Dan's music, I have come to know and love so much music.
Metal was never my thing, but the way Dan does it is simply fantastic.

Love your reaction. I agree, Dan loves what he does and it shows. Off the top of my head, I know he did at least two full versions of these songs: Sabaton's "The Last Stand" (a song about the 1527 Sack of Rome and the Swiss Guard giving their lives in defense of the Pope) and also Rhapsody's "Dawn of Victory" - which is actually a duet with former lead signer for Rhapsody (and one of Dan's idols) Fabio Lione and Dan's own band Fearless on lead guitar, bass, and drums.

Dan’s metal style on this compilation is wonderful, also a shout out to Victor for his super guitar work.. He has a “Whitesnake” song on his channel but no Alice Cooper. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Dan’s music once again and I look forward to seeing your next reaction to his music. : )

Dan produced this so well! His version of White Snake's "Here I go again" is super. Dan's whole persona is infectious and highly addictive😉 I've been a hardrock, metal fan all my life but not all metal. Dan's metal is beautiful! What's so great is that Alice Cooper is now a Christian🙌 Thankyou for your prayer and looking forward to more Dan reactions, thankyou😃

Beyond Belief
Dan kicked ass with his cover clips of these iconic metal songs. Victor The Guitar Nerd did a fantastic job with the transitions between the songs. So we get a perfect flow of clips from awesome metal songs. Dan has already covered some of these metal songs, some not, but he has re-recorded everything for this music video, and Victor The Guitar Nerd did a fantastic job. Both made it perfectly fitting together.

I had to chuckle when you mentioned Alice Cooper's Schools Out for the Summer. I just watched that video the other day and it brought back lots of memories. I'm so glad you enjoyed Dan's video. He is so very special and gifted. A great song to try next would be The Last Stand (Sabaton cover) or Priscilla's Song (metal cover - from the Witcher). Blessings!
Awww. Dan wasn't the only one smiling throughout that video. You were grinning pretty much the whole time, too.😊 I know I had a smile on my face while watching you enjoy it. Lol. Dan & Victor definitely had a great time doing this together. Don't feel too much like you were living in a hole. I didn't have a clue who any of the metal groups featured were until Dan introduced me to them... and I did listen to metal music at times. However, I was more familiar with 80s groups like Iron Maiden, Krokus, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Dokken, Metallica, Anthrax, etc. School's Out indeed was by Alice Cooper, btw. 😉
I like Dan's Dragonforce covers better than the originals. The Last Journey Home is one favorite of mine. I really think you would like Dan's cover of Sabaton's "The Last Stand". I've become a fan of their music & the history lessons behind their songs. Dan's cover of "Dawn of Victory" with his band Fearless and Fabio Lione is spectacular and gloriously victorious.
I actually discovered a song by Manowar after Dan's covers introduced me to that group. It wasn't one he'd covered, and it was more of a ballad called "Father." I waited for about 3 months to send it to my Dad on Father's Day. My Dad is not a metal fan at all, but he absolutely loved that song. It's quite beautiful.
As always, thank you so much for your great reaction to Dan's music. Prayer request for Dan as he's having all wisdom teeth removed as early as Monday. He expressed some concern about the effect it might have on his voice, but the removal is necessary due to the pain. Cover him in prayer for full, speedy recovery and no adverse effects on his voice. 🙏 God bless you, dear sir.

He was here in Denmark a couple of weeks ago and put on a heck of a show - at 76 years old!!!
Dan thoroughly enjoys singing his power metal, and it shows.
You would like Dan’s cover of The Last Stand by Sabaton. It was one of the songs he covered briefly in this video. In fact, as a Vet, you’d probably enjoy Sabaton since they bring war stories to life through power metal music.

I'm 80 and never listened to metal in my life. And then I found Dan. I don't go even a day without listening to him sing. Dan did a great song with members of the Christian group Petra. It is called
Amazing, right? A few more voices from The Man with a Thousand Voices, and all great! Metal singing requires extensive training to do it right and not destroy the voice, and Dan has mastered it. I think you would enjoy an entire video of Dawn of Victory, which Dan performed with his band, Fearless, and guest Fabio Leone, who was the song’s original lead singer. The band is terrific. Victor is fabulous in this one, as you just saw, and if you continue to explore this side of Dan you’ll see him a lot. Thanks for venturing into new territory.

Thank you! I don't believe Dan has done any Alice Cooper, but he has done a Whitesnake song - "Here I Go Again." He has some great songs in his 80's playlist. I wasn't into metal myself, but I do like Dan's metal. And shoutout to Victor The Guitar Nerd and his amazing guitars!

Your ears seemed to perk up a bit with the song called *The Last Stand* . The original is a power metal song by a Swedish band called Sabaton. The song is about the sacking of Rome.
I agree, how he could just switch from song to song like he did was totally amazing.
I don't think Cooper was highlighted in this montage. There was Blind Guardian, DragonForce, Sabaton, ManowaR, & some others worthy of note but my old brain refuses to recollect at the moment.
Dan highlighted the songs wonderfully, from the passion to the high notes, the speed, the grit, & stuff.
I hope he & Victor do another montage & include Dawn of Victory, Burn Butcher Burn, Poker Face, Bring Me To Life, and others.
