One aspect that is misunderstood is that Amazon has likely been training their algorithm to understand the context of the images on the existing products, and using the keywords from front and back end together. The thought process for most are that things are changing for all sellers but isn't likely so. The models are trained on available data. So if your listing is high quality optimized with great pictures, then you're in a good position.
I agree that if your listing is high quality you are in a better position for any changes that come. It remains to be seen what role keywords will continue to play in AI analyzing products in the future.
Great content Vanessa and Amy! love it. quick question: why would you use flat files rather than simply create a listing in seller central's editor?
Flatfiles give you more control and allow you to more accurately fill out all of the proper backend fields. Less chance of hijacking when you do this

ok so what should new sellers in 2024 do? create listings and content with AI? instead of normal product images create AI enhanced images? I am thinking creating the entire listing through AI Content Generator. Your thoughts ?
Thanks for your comment. Right now, sellers should just be aware that things may look different in seller central and they should try out the various tools and watch what results that has for their listings. There is no need to necessarily generate your photos with AI, however, ensuring you fill out all forms and listing attributes completely will be your best bet so that your product is properly represented by more than just the AI reviewing your photos.

Of the options Amazon gives us in Excel to decline the suggested titles, which is best to select to have the best chance of maintaining control of my titles etc? I need to respond within 24 hours. Thank you :)
Not sure what options there are... however, we've seen sellers decline them and Amazon changes their titles anyway. If you lose control you can open a case with the catalog team and request that "winning contributor" be switched back to you so you can then make edits
Good to know, thanks. Venessa Hung's feedback was those options in the Excel spreadsheet are for AI learnings only. I submitted and am keeping my fingers crossed ;)
