yeah sounds good man, can't wait! I was actually down at the Smino concert in Seattle and Monte Booker was touring with him and I actually had a convo with Monte about you. We were talking about Mona Lisa and how it came to be and I asked him if you were ever gonna go on tour and he said to stay tuned and if you ever were, it would be with Soulection and that was interesting to me. I'll have to stay tuned to wait and see

Naji, do you take vocal lessons or did you get vocal lessons in the past? I'm thinking about getting vocal lessons, but I don't know if I'll improve a lot, you know?
Jack Johnston I think your comment is question is a bit ironic when it comes to Naji. I sing often so he was constantly getting pointers from me as his mother. When he finished high school, her took some voice college courses.
The vocal professor basically shamed Naji into believing that he should never sing for anyone simply because his vocal style didn't fit the classical music tenor mold she desired. When I heard him say that he never wanted to sing again, I couldn't believe what I'd heard from him. I told him that he couldn't let someone with their own fears and insecurities reduce his potential.
So I'm glad to say that eventually he did come around to vocals again. His instrumental skills on drums and bass are amazing, but I think his voice is just as compelling a signature.
In sum, I'd say pursue your vocal training, but keep your essence. Don't let anyone tell you that what you want is not real. You can (fill in goal/vision here) with direction, tenacity, and diligent craftsmanship.
Use your diaphragm rather than your chest or throat. Strengthen your diaphragm and range with breath exercises. Record your voice for an objective way of reviewing and revising. I'm sure there's plenty of vocal coaches or tips on CZcams videos as well.
