I feel like this would be really good without the 3 letter wordmark. Ive never liked 3 letter wordmarks (Except for the Nationals CC) so i would have gone with "The Land"
The authentic jerseys have the nice textured pattern on the letters and numbers, I’m sure the replica version will be a flat ironed on printed piece of vinyl and that’s gonna hurt the look of these a lot.
I think these are great. But all the Guardian references seem silly since they are the Guardians. I think you're missing the most important theme here: these are just a way they can honor their throwbacks without the problematic mascot.
These are one of the better ones dropped recents. Some of the ones that have dropped this year have been really not aesthetic in my opinion. I think as a whole, Nike has completely dropped the ball on the city connect concept not only in the MLB but at this point the NBA as well.
Would’ve been better with “the land” across the chest but love the font, detailing and textures. And it would’ve been cool to see something different with the hat. Feels lazy to me when they just do a different color-way of the hats the teams already wear
