  • “Adzogbo” is a traditional dance of the Ge/Ewe/Fon/Gbe people, originaly from Benin, Togo and the Volta Region of Ghana. It is a war dance used to celebrate spirit chiefs, and festival as well as other functions of local royalties.
    The Aflao Adzogbo Group, based in Aflao in the Volta Region of Ghana, is amongst the few ensembles that are preserving and maintaing the original cultural tradition of Adzogbo music, as well as promoting its social and spiritual value amongst the community.
