Trains at: Didcot Parkway, GWML, 14/05/17

- An excellent afternoon spent at Didcot Parkway on the Great Western Mainline where we see countless services from Great Western Railway, Cross Country and freight from DB Cargo UK.
Despite the fact that this was filmed on a Sunday the traffic was constant and good. Not so much for fast trains today but a good variety of destinations being seen to today,

Loved the HST with the Swallow Livery and agree with u that GWR should have the full set of carriages in that livery. Was a bit surprised to see a XC Voyager go through Didcot Parkway instead of the bypass line. And I don't know what that freight train was carrying that effectively stank the place out lol. Would love to see all the GWR trains in their green livery and hopefully once the delayed electrification is complete, the 800s would make an appearance. Apparently it was Feb 2016 that u were last there.
I to loved seeing 43185 in its intecity swallow livery, I had to double check RTT to see if a voyager was actually booked to pass through the station. Tried to find out why it was but I couldnt find anything. It'll be good to see the 800's and the HST's working together before they get sent off to ScotRail. I couldnt remember the last time I was there. I cant believe it was that long ago

43185 has got to be by far and away my personal HST that's currently running due to its design

And the announcements for the Great Western Railway services coming from Hereford,Worcester Foregate Street,Worcester Shrub Hill and Oxford are not saying that they are going to London Paddington they just said Ealing Broadway instead but all of the Great Western Railway services usually terminates at London Paddington.
at 16.13 with that speed they don't drive here through the stations in the netherlands.

Great Video! :-) Loved the IC livery on that 1 half of the Great Western HST. All IC125s will be in service to 2035. Were seeing the entry into service of the 800 and 801 Azuma Trains on the Great Western Mainline and the East Coast Mainline. The Great Western Mainline is being electrified to Swansea but since the 800 and 801s are dual Diesel and Electric Hybrids they can certainly travel to Exeter and Plymouth with ease. Like the VTEC 800s and 801s the Great Western 800s and 801s also have 5 coaches and 9 coaches respectively. But since passenger number will continue increasing I can see the Azumas being lengthened to 11 coaches just as the Virgin Pendolinos were lengthened to 11 coaches.
I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, I'm sure with plenty of customer demand the 800's will get extended, either that or they'll just double head them along the length of the route

Great video and I really thought you were doing the journey videos but I think that the Network Rail company are preparing the line for electrification on the Great Western Mainline.
Thanks very much for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed watching this, I will restart my journey films but I'll be buying another Samsung Tablet before I do that. Network Rail have been stalling on getting the GWML electrified for a while now. They could've made some great progress so far but they keep on getting side tracked by other things

i noticed that the 43's when there slow moving the coaches seam to whine at points whats that about? (sorry about the spelling)

another excellent video, just a shame that the ugly metal is all around as it really spoils the view, i think everyone would agree that the area would look alot better without all that metal there, ive never been to dicot myself sadly
Eliott Jeary I have been there many times and it is a beautiful station. I would recommend going. But yes the poles do really get in the way
