Sadly, Mekong Delta (Cần Thơ is a province that belongs to Mekong Delta) is dying due to drought and salinity. People are having no water to use daily, their fruit gardens and rice fields are dying because of the increase in the level of salt in the freshwater. I know this is none of your business, but I really hope with your popularity and especially your kindness maybe you could raise fundraising for helping people from Mekong Delta to at least to have water to drink and to use.
love n sweet2008 Exactly, too many dams have been built in the upstream of Mekong river and majorities of those dams belong to China. A new dam is going to be built in Laos, which will worsen the situation in Mekong Delta. This made me so happy. As a first generation Filipino American, I can relate to everything you were experiencing. The phrase “going back to *insert motherland country* “ is something I’ve seen many immigrant children and families from all parts of the world use in the specific context of going *home* to your *homeland* and I feel such an affinity to others who use that phrase in the same way, because I never saw anyone going through the same experience until much later and now that I can see it I can name it and relate to others going through it and that is an awesome feeling. When we left the Philippines and arrived in the states I didn’t realize what was happening, but my family had completely uprooted familiarity and everything the knew to move into the unknown that was America in hopes of fulfilling the American dream. They gave up and took on a lot in order to give my siblings and I this life. The entire time I was just growing up with it and going along with whatever new school I got put into as we moved from my uncles house for a few months as a landing pad and then my great aunt’s who came sometime in the 70s or 80s, to renting an apartment near one of the city’s malls, and finally to a suburban area with a large minority population. I didn’t notice then and just accepted it as a normal part of my life but it’s much clearer now how much was changing. I've been to Vietnam and it's one of the most beautiful ans underrated places in the world ❤️
coming from someone who is vietnamese, i am so happy how you got to learn about our vietnamese culture
i love the way she speaks. I really like her voice aw
Is it just me or does she have the most soothing voice ever!!!!!!!
Literally love her SO FWACKING MUCH🤩 I'm so happy that she was able to be apart of such an opportunity because she deserves it more than anyone! So proud of her success and I am wishing best of luck to her!!💕💕
I can’t fathom the fact that she’s never had a banh mi!!!!!
Red pork belly banh mi is soooo good
She is so adorable!!
Connecting with your roots is crucial, I'm beyond happy to see you discover a part of yourself.
I'm adopted from China and my parents and I are going to visit next year when I graduate! This made me so excited to go!
Có ai người Việt Nam đang xem không nhỉ hi hi 😂
*I'm from Vietnam, the first time I watched your video, it was great. Welcome to your hometown of Vietnam* 💗💗💗
Me :>>
Lana your voice is literally so calming!!
Lana is such a pure hearted human💕
It’s heart warming to see people embracing their origins! Thank you, Lana for introducing Vietnamese culture to more people around the world! Love from a Vietnamese living away from home 🇻🇳❤️
I was extremely surprised when she said she had never had Bahn Mi. There are several Vietnamese places including the one I always go to within sight of the school where they filmed To All The Boys.
Her voice makes me so relaxed
Your voice is so calming 💗
Lana you are the greatest role model ♥️ I'm so happy that you created a CZcams channel because in this way we get to see more of your true self and learn from the important values you believe in♥️ Thank you so much!!! We love you ♥️
She enjoys everywhere she goes! What a wonderful girl, this teaches people to always enjoy the littlest things in life. Luv ya Lana! ❤️
This video actually made me cry. This trip must be meaning so much to Lana
I'm also from VN and everything Lana was saying about the vN culture and fish markets is how it is! I'm full Viet and honestly she says it as how it truely is
love this vid! finding your culture is so important to do!
Lara has the most relaxing voice
You have a very soothing voice and are very eloquent. I loved watching this..your narration made this place even more beautiful! 😍
This video really reminds me of Thailand, I’m half and half Australian, I grew up in Thailand for nearly 6 years, I was so used to my family, but one day we moved to Australia. So once a year I visit my family in Thailand.
This is honestly soo beautiful.
Btw. Love u so much Lana you're such an inspiration to me 💓💓
I loved this video! Seeing the joy in Lana's face as she explored a part of her roots was touching. The Lara Jean narration was spot on too! Lol Would love to see Lana create a travel blog in her free time because I feel like she is one of those individuals that can go to a place and appreciate it in a level that most wouldn't. It's genuine. Great vid!
My brother and I are also both adopted from Vietnam. We went back last year (2018/2019) in December and stayed there for three weeks. It’s such a beautiful place. It’s crazy how our lives have been so different than what we could have been. I’m glad you got to return. I may not get to go very often but I know it means a lot when I do. Some of the clips in your video I have been to as well!
Much love and positivity for you always Lana. ❤️🤗✨
I love her sm🥰❤She's so beautiful👉👈🥺🥰

You're so natural Lana, I love you!
I spent some time traveling around S.E Asia and by far Vietnam was a stand out, I completely fell in love with Hanoi. My goal is to go back and bike around Vietnam.
