We outline the process for prepping, examining, and repainting airplanes and explain why it is so vital for safety.

    4:01 klm painted the planes orange, which is the national colour of the country, the flag is red white blue

      actual the dutch flag used to be orange white and blue. Which was originally called the "Prince's Flag". Orange was part of the Dutch flag even before it became it's national color.

    Just cause the Dutch national team wears orange doesn't mean the flag is orange. Fail

      It wasn't bare. You just cover it with a clear protective lacquer. It looks bare. If it was truly bare it would oxide and wouldn't look shiny

      @SentinelSays Před 2 měsíci

      @@sketchyAnalogiesExactly. To be exact, 3 heavy coats of clear, which had to be put on within a VERY short timeframe after the manufacturer green protective coat was removed, or they would start to oxidise with a day or so. Wife’s family run the operations of an airplane paint business, plenty of experience to share. Coincidentally, the planes they have the most discomfort working on are / certain Middle Eastern airline with a grey livery, because the particular grey they specify to use has basically no opacity and as such, is a nightmare to apply without being able to see the material underneath.
